This professor made the class very interesting, you will not regret any moment in his class. The topic he lecture on always relates to everyday life. Even though it's a humanity, he do a great job related to our reality. All you have to do is do his assignments and you will pass the class.

ATTETION DUDES AND DUDETTES! This is definitely a class worth taking. I never bought the book for the class, but I wish could have found Nuclear Ideas (the book in the dumpster) Just do the essays which have interesting topics and you will passed. The exams are pretty easy. Its an all writing class but easy trust me I HATE WRITING! AND I GOT AN A!

This professor is amazing! Love his lectures! He is very smart! His book is good and useful for writing essays. There are just essays and maybe one assignment per semester. Great class to take! recommended extremely! Take Take Take! I have taken 3 of his classes!!

Very disrespectful teacher, doesn't have any empathy with students. If you want an A however, do take him. You wont learn anything in his class except for his obsession with calling his students dudes and dudettes, or calling us all his "campers". Most definitely a weird teacher.

The first thing I want to say is that if he tells you that you need books and one of them is a book that he wrote, then don't believe him I bought the 2 $80 books for his class, and opened only one of them (and only one time). This class is very easy, mainly because we did NO work what so ever. its an easy "A", but don't expect to learn anything.

If you want an easy A then take this class. You're only graded on essays which are super easy, no format or anything. The guy just rambles on and on about absolutely nothing so don't ask him to explain ANYTHING. Also, don't get his book, I haven't even taken it out of the bag I bought it in, waste of money.

It's an easy to pass class, but wow, what an infuriating waste of time if you actually wanted to learn. Textbook is written by him, required, and a HUGE waste of money. Essays are graded so easily a monkey could pass. He just rambles the entire period. Don't ask questions - took him 45 minutes to answer a question about word min. for essay once.

His teaching technique is extremely brainstorming/scattered. It's not spoon-feeding like some classes can be, but at the same time he got off track so much and I really feel like I know nothing about Greek and Roman humanities after taking his class. His humor is not really that of most college students either lol. Don't recommend at all.

SImply one of the best professors at Valencia. Explains his points through other thoughts and attracts anyones attention. He is a super good teacher that will teach you anything even thought you are not willing to get it. Super recommended and I am already registered in 3 other classes with him. SUPER GREAT JOB!

Prof Stout is a really smart guy. He wrote his own book and knows his stuff. Def buy and use both books, especially Nuclear Ideas. He makes a lot of good points. His lectures are long but pay attention. You may or maynot enjoy his humor, but he makes the subject interesting. Only a few papers and tests. Not hard at all to get thro. Def take him.

TAKE PROFESSOR STOUT FOR ALL HUMANITIES CLASSES! He's a good professor, likes to talk A LOT, and tends to go off subject, but definitely worth it, EASY A! Gives you over 200 topics to choose from, but you only need 10, if that, and always use a quote from his nuclear ideas book, and you'll be sure to get extra points for that dudes&dudettes! :)

I love professor Stout! He talks a lot, and some things are unrelated to the course or seem unrelated but he is funny. And sometimes he talks to get you thinking outside the box that is related to the course. Even his "nuclear ideas" may seem silly but just show him respect because he has a lot of wisdom and he deserves it!

Prof. Stout is AWESOME! I've taken all of my humanities classes with him. If your learning method is reading textbooks & answering questions, THIS CLASS ISN'T FOR YOU. He makes you think outside the box, he talks alot, and he's very smart. You mostly write a few papers and the test are easy too. It's an easy A, i dont see how anyone can fail.

Nice guy, but brace yourself to endure ramblings every class. He will go on & on and it doesnt matter if the class is dead silent. He likes discussion, but sometimes addresses the entire class like we are all 18 year olds. Hold off on buying his nuclear ideas (its his book with topics) he will give you topics in class anyway. Dudes and dudettes!
