Comment:
Started off semester good, seemed like a nice guy. This changed when I realized he is never clear on expectations of work. Doesnt give you all the info to study on the test, the TA grades hard for no reason, if you leave out a doc in an assignment, its not the right format you're screwed. Doesnt help that they contradict eachother. Hate this class.

Carl Scott is a good teacher. That being said I did not like his teaching style. He will go over most of the info you need to know for his test the class before. Forgets to highlight items he wants you to know for the test. His class is fine but I left feeling like I didn't learn a lot. I suggest taking TP2, DB2, adv web app, or cloud data instead

Project Management is one of those courses either you will love or hate all dependent on the group and project you get, so choose wisely. As for Scott, the guy is awesome! So much wisdom and he truly cares for your success. Class is pretty much conducted as a business meeting and quizzes are weekly based of lecture and slides. 3 tests with curve!

Comment:
IT Project Management is not a really difficult class but it can be time consuming on the projects you work with for the clients. Scott was truly an amazing professor and gave amazing knowledge about Project management. Most of your grade is composed of 3 exams and group project. Get a good group and keep up with project and you should be fine.

IS project Management Course. Professor will post a topic every week and You need to find a Journal Article and present in the class. Students Present every week. Every presentation graded strictly. You need to read your article and all others articles. DrScott dont teach anything. Dont question drScott and act like you know PM if you take.

During the summer, this class is intense. Every class, you get a quiz. There are 2 papers, 2 presentations...all in 6 weeks. Prof is interesting and funny. Thoroughly enjoyed the class.

No text book. Quizes aren't too bad. You write the papers and presentation as a team(3 15 page papers and a 20 minute presentation in a 4 week summer session). This course is WAY TOO TIME consuming relative to the value it presents. Its more of an IT theory/philosphy class. The prof is OK, knows what he's talking about, and fair. Not too bad.

Comment:
Didn't learn a thing in the class. Took it in summer and students AND professor were overwhelmed. NO feedback on grades. Didn't get 3/4 of grades back until after semester over. Impression of professor was a pompas ass who is full of himself. More of an English class writing on technology then learning how to manage IT. Subject emphasis is off
