Comment:

I've had Dr. Conway for both Histology and Embryology. The first I took as a requirement, the second I took as a personal challenge to see how much punishment I could withstand. MANY hours spent at a microscope, well into the evening. Her exams were as difficult as understanding the IRS tax code, but a great course taught by a respected professor.

She was not clear, did not specify what to expect. The lab tests were impossibly hard. I was an A/B student and a bio major and took this as an elective. Biggest mistake ever.

Make no mistake, this class will be difficult, but if you work hard, you can get that "A." Go to every class, look at the slides multiple times, and make sure you are able to reconcile everything from both the class notes and the lab notes (preferably together). Once you get to med/dent school, you will be thanking God you took this class.

Embryo is an extremely challenging class and requires lots of work but Dr. Conway is an amazing professor. She is very helpful and lets you know what to expect upfront.

She was by far the best professor I have ever had at VCU. The class is not easy, but she makes it clear what is expected of you. Dr. Conway is the best!!!!
