Mrs.Spillman is by far the best math teacher I have ever had in my life. I went into her class barely knowing how to add and subtract but her teaching-style was amazing and at 24 I can finally do math!! If you want to pass the compass test and actually learn math you couldn't get a better start. Oh and she writes great recommendations;) Take her!!!

Very nice lady, a bit hyper but, sweet as pie. She teaches at a fast pace however, if you study and do your homework, you'll do fine. She expect you to know math 96 & 97. She is an excellent teacher to prepare you for the compass exam. No multiple choice tests, however she grades fair. If you want to pass the compass exam take her class.

Ms. Spillman is a good math teacher. She taught at a very fast pace so keeping up was crucial. She gives lots of little "bonus" quizzes that helped my grade alot. Top notch and highly recommended to those not afraid to work.

SHE IS AWESOME.. I suck at math and her style of teaching is great. dropped like 5 lowest quizes and tries to make it possible for you to always pass the test. she is easy just make sure to do your homework and you will learn. you can always go to her for help

I use to love math!She went extremely fast and did not use the examples in the book.She is not very helpful if you don't understand the first time.just repeats the same exact thing.She loves the smart students and blames not understanding to not doing homework.would do homework if i understood *duh.killed my 4.0 by taking her class.DONT DO IT******

Great teacher and very helpful! I was nervous about taking a Math course because it's not my best subject and someone recommended her class to me. If you do your homework, projects, but most importantly attend class to understand the material, then you should be able to pass her class with ease.

Math 1101 is a joke and this is coming from someone whose subject is not math. I had over a 100 in there with little to no work. The class is very trivial, its more like whether or not you can follow steps in a series. Professor Spillman explains everything in detail and answers any questions anyone might have. 5 tests; final; 5 Projects; and hwk.

Awesome teacher. She teaches too fast sometimes but if you catch her during office hours she'll help you. If you try hard by doing ALL of the homework and practicing problems beyond the homework you'll be fine on test. She also gives small in-class assignments for bonus points.

If math is not your strong point, avoid this one. She moves too fast. She gives u plenty of notes, but they're just notes if you don't understand what's going on. If you had any problems with math before and it takes a little more than average effort to understand it, stay away from this one folks!!!

Mrs Spillman is amazing. Skip Calc and Alegra and take Into to Mathmatical Modeling. She is awesome. Spillman talks fast but if you attend class and pay attention, you eventually get used to it. I highly recommend her.

Mrs Spillman is the best math teacher ever. She is fair, if you're willing to put the effort, she'll work with you. Come to class, do your projects on time, do your homeworks and you'll pass the class. I'm not good in math but I pass the the class with an A, SO YOU CAN TOO. She loves her students and her job.

I love her! She is very sweet and helpful.She really cares about her students.Out of all three times I took this class She was my teacher when I passed. Her makes math easy for you and easy to understand especially if your bad in math. Best advice:Sit in the front, write down all her notes, do all the labs and homework=YOU WILL PASS!!

Ms.Spillman is the best math teacher I've ever had.As long as you do your homework and labs you will be ok. Don't pay attention to these other comments about her. Her teaching style is excellent.I have always done horrible in math and I was able to make a B in her class.She is a great teacher you just have to be willing to try.
