Very nice professor. She explains math effectively for those hard to understand. Her solving techniques are very easy compared to other professors. She gives extra credit homework that are worth 4pts each. Take her if you don't understand math, you'll be sure to pass. I got an A

Professor Horne is awesome!!! i was never good in math in high school but I took her 9 week class for college algebra and received a B!! she explains so well, available to help in office hours and her tests are everything she teaches in class! Just put in the effort and do your homework.

Professor Horne is great! She is always willing to go over things you don't understand, and break it down further. Do the hw! The tests are pretty easy if you did the hw, and take the extra credit. Don't be afraid to ask questions! It'll be a good class, she's super helpful!

Tests questions are unbalanced, homework is extra credit so 4 points won't do much. It's also the only kind of extra credit. Won't curve or drop any grades no matter what, save your money and don't take her.

Very good teacher! She makes the class seem harder than it is, but you still should study.I was pretty rusty at math but Professor Horne made it very easy to understand a lot of basic fundamentals I never really learned that well. If I were to take a higher level math, I would definitely choose her again. She is crystal clear and cares.

She is a great teacher. She pauses in between math problems to make sure everyone is on board. She wants you to ask questions if you don't understand. Gives extra credit. Not a lot of homework. Make sure to have her 4 times a week (M-R). I took a blended class. It was fast pace. I enjoyed her style of teaching. She has review day before test day

Take her - shes a good professor. She explains things clearly and even when you ask a silly question ( I did a lot of that) she was more than happy to explain it to me. I took her 8 week class, and although it was a lot of work like all 8 week classes, don't kid yourself, any math class will require you to do HW to learn. 100% Reccomended

Took it for summer (10 weeks) and still got an A, although it took MANY hours of study. She is not easy, and neither is the subject, but she will help you with any questions that you have. Is up to you to earn your grade, study, do the homework and you will pass

Prof. Horne is a great teacher and lecturer. Calc 2 is no cake walk, as good as she is explaining concepts clearly doesn't mean you will automatically get an A with no further participation on your end. Expect Long hours of HW if you really want a good grade. The Professor always takes the beginning of class to go over any HW questions. Summer Term

I'm a junior with a 3.9 GPA- Im not looking for an easy A. With that said, I don't understand the Good ratings for this professor. Pray that you learned previous math the way she knows it, bcuz she will take points for doing things differ even if answer is correct. She does everything to make things difficult. Does not care about students.

Professor Horne is an amazing college algebra professor! Her lectures are very clear and she always reviews before the quizzes. Very sweet lady who wants everyone to pass. She also gives extra credit homework every week. Definitely would recommend.

If you are a driven individual that works hard on your own behalf, and is decently good at mathematics this is the teacher for you. If you have ANY other classes to take or have too many other engagements taking up your time, you will fail this class. Miserably. This teacher should only be taken by those who have the time to fully dedicate themself

She's great math professor and very straightforward. This is actually the 1st class where I chose to attend every class because she teaches well and if you ever need help she is there for you. The homework is extra credit and really helps boost your grades. She does reviews for every test and the review is exactly like the test. take her class!

AWESOME Professor! I am not good at math but she made me understand it. Homework is optional but it does give you extra credit points. Do the HW and do the practice HW she assigns to help learn the material. Test reviews are similar to her tests. Just do the work to get the grade. I would highly recommend her!!!

Straightforward teacher. Gives 8 quizzes and 1 final. Tends to focus on one side of the class and ignore the other when teaching. Homework is extra credit for the quizzes which helps a lot. Does NOT email you back if you have questions. You need to see her in person which is annoying at times.
