Imagine giving exams and never giving feedback, never answering a single students question post exam. Very uptight about minute details. Last day of class was giving new material instead of review. Assigned homework into finals week. Inconsiderate of your other classes and your time. Avoid Avoid Avoid.

She's not a bad lecturer. Everything is Crystal clear. She is excessively uptight about miniscule details and she doesn't go over the exams after you get them back so you don't really know what the correct answers were. She makes sure to use every second of the 3 hour class. So don't ever expect to leave even 2 minutes early.

the tests are very easy. very clear on what she wants from you. some equations provided on test. got a's on all here tests except final. lots of HW but the problems are all that hard. 90 assignments the sem it took her. tests are straight from the suggested problems. if u understand the material its an A if u prefer to plugnchug good luck. she gives The best lectures, and she uses material to show the students the real application of physic rules. she is very kind and helpful. she doesn't give lots of homework (around 6 problems per week ) but homework are graded. I totally recommend her !

Professor Hernandez is an absolute pleasure to take. Her lectures are constructive and informative, the labs are demonstrative of the material and well structured, her assessments are fair, clear, and to the point, and if you put in the time to attend and give your attention, I can almost certainly assure you a pleasant and worthwhile experience.

Great sense of humor + passionate about Physics but seek any kind of help from her and get an array of condescending responses. Moderate weekly assignments + gives example problems in class to go thru step-by-step ... then you get to the exams, and they're so deviated from the prep work that even physics gurus fail or don't finish. Run.... Away.

Ms, Hernandez is an AMAZING teacher, she explains extremely well, and she is extremely organized. You will learned all the material without the book.One thing i hated was that HER TEST WERE EXTREMELY LONG FOR THE AMOUNT OF TIME SHE GIVES YOU. Also you cant use your own calculator or a cheat sheet for test. Not a plug and chug class..

Professor Hernandez knows her stuff, and is very well organized. She grades fair, and will never throw something you haven't seen on an exam. I felt the homework fully prepared me for each exam. Her lectures at times can seem slow, but you will understand the subject better. She really focuses on understanding topics, not just plugging in values.

I liked Professor Hernandez very much. She passed everybody in the class =P. The ratio of lab and hw points (including extra credit) helped weigh out your grade if you aren't a great test taker. Formula sheets provided. She's on schedule and extremely organized. TAKE HER! You won't regret! I thought I was going to regret but glad I took her.

Explains concepts well and overall a good teacher. Drawback is that she assigns a lot of homework, but if you do the work and pay attention in lectures you will learn the material. I got an A and didn't use book at all. Tests are closely related to homework problems.

this was a fun class, and her lectures were helpful, exams were fair, and had lots of quizzes. the only problem is she would lecture on something weeks before we had the test. its suppossed to give you time to study but by the time the test came you forgot everything and knew the current chapter. only a little homework with about a week to do each.

The easiest of the PHYS 400 series. Very thorough teaching style. I never read the book...only used it for HW. There is a lab practical, and 5 tests, including finals. My only problem is that she gives attitude if you ask her questions or ask for clarification during tests. (not just to me, to everyone)

Professor Hernandez is awesome when it comes to the lecture. But, her tests are very tricky more like from hell. You can study your heart out and still get a low grade on the test. But, she counts attendance and homework heavily. Love her lectures.

She's very professional and she has a broad understanding of the subject. I emailed her concerned about my grade and she summarized everything so I knew where I stand in the class at the end of the semester.She is very fond of the subject and teaches it passionately. She's always available during office hours and through e-mail.

Cecilia Hernandez is a wonderful teacher. 100% business but very nice and answers all questions. It?s a good idea to have some background in algebra & geometry if you want a good grade though.

fast paced and at times slightly hard to understand. But you can tell she loves what she's teaching and as long as you give respect you won't have problems with her. Success is easy in her class, she gives study guides for tests.
