Comment:
He has a heavy accent and goes by the book. Addition self study is advised. Recitation have hard quizzes but do help, attend these (plus a proportion of grade). Recitations help more than the lecture. Attendance is taken but not really helpful, can read directly from the book. Test are moderate and the previous tests are similar.

Comment:
Accent is intimidating but manageable, especially when he breaks out the jokes. Online homework takes time to do, written homework is simple. He does a good job of covering all the material needed and then some. And his drawings are legendary in a good way. Putting effort worthy of a 4 hour class into this will guarantee you an A/B. Great guy.

Comment:
Dr. Wang has an accent, yes, but it is very easy to understand, especially after the first day. He talks very fast and sometimes makes mistakes in lecture but his notes are right out of the textbook. Review the section in the textbook, attend recitation, and befriend your TA. Tests are medium-easy. If you put the effort in, you can make an A/B.

Accent is very thick and will frustrate you often. However, the TA will usually be able to clear up anything you didn't get right away. Tests are very easy (average was about an 88) and are right off the study guide. 3 written hw problems and about 15 online problems due each week. And he is a nice guy, and can be nerdily funny sometimes.

I currently have Changyou Wang for MA213 and it is a little difficult to understand his accent. However, once you get past that he is a good teacher. I was worried about the exam but for the first one he gave us a study guide with 17 questions, and if you did it, the same concepts were on the test. Recommended.

Calc 2 is a difficult class, but Changyou does his best to teach it. His English isn't the greatest, but you'll certainly get used to his accent within a few weeks.

It takes some time, but once you acclimate yourself to his accent, he's a fantastic professor. He is extremely helpful in his office hours, but the language barrier makes asking very specific questions somewhat difficult.

He has a thick accent, but you get used to it. He is funny in a dorky math way sometimes. Tests are cake if you do the study guide.

Tests were pretty straight forward. They came straight from the review sheet. I should have gotten an A in there had I applied myself and done the homework regularly. Kind of hard to understand at first but you get used to it.

If you want an A and you want to learn the fundamentals, take this class! He gives a practice test that is an exact copy of the actual test with different numbers. At first I didn't understand a thing he said but you will learn to understand everything he says. He's pretty funny too...in a math teacher way.

The first couple of weeks were scary because I couldn't understand what he was saying. But given some time, I found him to be a great calculus teacher. Also, "raptors" = vectors, "aklar asian" = acceleration, and "Barbara Thompski" = wronskian. Don't be freaked out if he starts writing backwards on the board, or starts with Example -1.

Tests are super easy. He gives a practice test which is the test with different numbers. He refers to "trigometric" functions as "chicken" functions. Hard to understand at times, but gives good notes and good expamples.
