Great teacher. Inspired and brought out the best in me. Helped me discover and hone writing and speaking skills that I didn't know I had. Lectures quite interesting. Has a was of unpacking info that helps you understand, value, apply and retain the material.

This guy is so ridiculously hard. I hate his class so much. I'm up working on his assignments all night just to be dissapointed time and time again. Do not take him for Organizatinal Communication it is a nightmare.

Dr. Chas is quite a character, but an all around great prof. His lectures are short and to the point and always keep you chuckling. Lets you go 10 mins early every class. He is pretty lenient with all types of grading. Pub. Speaking is a pretty easy class. Requires very little work but is very beneficial. Great way to take care of some core.

Dr. Chas is an interesting character that makes his class fun. There is never a dull moment and you actually learn a lot about public speaking. He is a fairly strict grader on speeches but if you follow the outlines for each of the speeches you should get at least an 85.

I love Dr. Chas! His lectures are interesting and fun! He is a hard grader but there are only 3 speeches. His midterm and final tests are hard though. The notes he gives in class do not help much but you learn a lot despite.

Chas is the best prof I have ever had. Will go out of his way to help you and takes a genuine interest in his students. Can be a tough grader, but he always has a good reason. Funny as hell too. Easily my favorite prof ever. He knows his stuff as well - he's been published a ton and sits on a lot of review boards for journals. I love him.

Get ready for the massive amounts of case studies! Integrate your notes - thats the best advice you can get for Chas. His notes are incredibly important to being successful in his class. It's not fun memorizing them for the tests either, but it works! Just put in effort and show you are interested - hopefully you do well!

Chas is a pretty crazy guy who likes to be super awake in the morning. He grades a bit on the tougher side but it is not murder. As long as you dont write you speech the night before you are fine. He swears alot and can be stereotypical so if you get offended easily do not take his class.

Ok, if you want to write 10000 papers and get mediocre grades on them no matter how much you write, go ahead and take this course. He's great in class and very interesting, but no matter how well you know the material, he always manages to find something something wrong with your work. This class had way to much work....not worth it.

Why does everyone like "Dr. Chas"? It is hard to respect him-curses constantly, reads out of the book, and has the sense of humor of a third-grader. Plays favorites-tends to favor students who are like him (not bright or **** a lot) and pick apart those who genuinely try. Hates students who are brighter than him, and it shows. Don't buy the hype!

Where does he come up with these grades? I got a D on a speech i worked my ass off w. proper form and all (a GOOD speech), while another student's whose sucked got a B! Plays favorites. Tests are HARD and questions are unclear at times. Plus side is class is laid back & he can be kind of 'dumb funny' w. all his brunstucky schtick.
