Comment:

Cheryl is the best professor I ever had at CMU. She will be missed in the music department but I'm sure she will do an excellent job as president. Amazing pianist, extremely intellectual theorist, and very personable and helpful. She also single handedly prepared me for grad school. I have nothing but positive things to say about Cheryl.

Cheryl is great! She is an excellent piano teacher. She often uses obscure metaphors and she is very artsy. Some will appreciate that and some won't be she is a helpful prof.

A very intelligent professor and amazing pianist. She knows what she's talking about but sometimes it seems like she's talking in another language because she knows so much. however, she is very flexible with dead lines and helpful if you need any help. An excellent prof.

She will rock your world - if you are up for it. Very obviously loves her subject matter, and willing to give a lot to those who match her. So intelligent, postmodern, and the best thing in that music department. She alone prepped me for grad school.

She's very passionate about what she teaches, but the running joke is that she speaks a different language when discussing music theory topics. Not literally, of course. Her lectures are interesting, stimulating, challenging and inspiring, but good luck following up with her assignments! She ignores deadlines; hand it in whenever you can!

Comment:

Cheryl will blow your mind with her incredible intellect. She knows her stuff amazingly well, and she's a monster pianist. Great professor, just a little hard to follow sometimes. If you start dozing off in her class, your goose is thoroughly cooked. She won't care, but you'll be lost.
