Comment:

If you need accommodations for mental health, she will not care. Dont bother. Also sent out a passive aggressive email about midterms to everyone. If you make a minor mistake in the midterm it will take a huge chunk out of your grade. Also judging be previous stories about dressing up as a homeless person, shes clearly insensitive. Waste.

Comment:

Christine is a great professor, her way of teaching and use of language helped me understand and connect to the subject better. The midterms and final are pretty easy if you study, don't study ? will not pass. The only problem were her weekly quizzes. I wish I studied more for her tests and quizzes because they are not very difficult if you study.

She gives out 2 midterms 2 weeks apart. The final 3 weeks later. And she gives out about 7 quizzes online. Shes a very judge metal type of teacher and her racism is horrible as well. Would not take this class again.

Super Bad ! TERRIBLE! I didnt appreciate her profanity . She uses her profanity to bring out more humor to class vibe . You will get a project where we have to dress like homeless (social experiment). We get midterms very often and her grading is very difficult if you dont write what shes looking for .

please do not take her if you can't handle remembering names because she is very picky on her midterm and final. DO NOT TAKE HER pick someone else. She can teach lectures but she was just very hard for me. save yourself some tears and GPA

Professor Rodriguez is such an amazing teacher!! She doesnt like being called prof so call her by her first name. This class made me see the world differently though she curses a lot shes freaking hilarious and puts a lot of thought into her teachings totally recommend !!!

She gave a group project to go nearby department stores with dressing like a homeless. It was very time-consuming works and even she give the other Homeworks a lot. She made mistakes to grade my scores so I had very hard to reset it.

Shes hilarious and so down to earth she makes funny jokes all the time and gives really good examples to the content. But definitely such a hard worker, and if you're not outgoing dont take her cause theres a group project where you have to act in public. she gives weekly quizzes that can be done at home but read the textbook all the time

Christine is a very cool person and even insists that you call her Christine. Her class is textbook based - make sure you do the reading! Grades are based on quizzes, a few papers and midterms that she gives you the questions to a week before and chooses 2 from them. It is a sociology class so be prepared to talk. BEWARE OF THE GROUP PROJECT

Her tests and lectures are based on the text book. Some may like this but I didn't. She is very knowledgeable, funny and entertaining. I usually prefer when teachers integrate material other than the book and don't particularly like only multiple choice tests. Over all I think she's a great person and did a great job of keeping people engaged.

Although Christine is not a very easy teacher, you have to study very hard to pass because she does an intense essay exams. She only does six multiple choice quiz, but it still hard. Sociology 15 is a very easy subject; however, Christine is not easy.

She's an awesome professor. The textbook is a must. Her quizzes are what get you so make sure to study for them. Her midterms aren't easy, they're in class essays. 6 quizzes, 2 midterms, a group assignment, 1 extra credit opportunity and the final. She's really not that hard because she makes things so easy to understand. I highly recommend her.

She is pretty cool. She gives clear, meaningful and useful lectures but you have to pay full attention on her class. She is a bit arrogant but nice. In her class, a lot of reading and works are required but study hard, you can get a good grade!

Hard not to like Christine. She's funny and nice but I hated this class! She skewed the subject matter to match her biased liberal views. Teachers should allow students to form their own opinions. BEWARE: NOT an "Easy A" class! 2 written midterms, 1 written quiz, 2 M.C. quizzes, 2 papers & written final. Memorize the chapters to get a good grade.

She use's inappropriate language all the time but she is very professional about her teaching. I recommend taking this teachers only if your serious about the class. More then half of students drop her class because she requires you to do work. Midterm and final exam are essay form. Quality work is require from you if you want a good grade.

Unprofessional teaching; uses vulgar language in class just to make her class interesting. I'm sorry but I did NOT find her amusing whatsoever. I come to school to learn NOT to be entertained. Students should demand to be educated; especially if I'm paying money for this. Anyway, this teacher is awful...just be warned. I want my money back!!!!!
