She is proof that 2 grad degrees in education, even from Harvard, can't turn an idiot into a professor. Her main function is to occupy space in the front of the room while spouting out irrelevant info about her family and telling you to go to her africa studies luncheon thing for extra credit. Lectures are useless; read the book if you wanna pass.

Do yourself a favor and stay away. She was unclear and very unorganized. This class was just really stressful because you have no idea what she expects or where you stand the whole time, you ask her to clarify and she just repeats herself over and over. I think I would have enjoyed taking this class if it were taught by someone else.

im begging you do not take this class. my class started out with 30 people and by the last week of classes we had like 7 people..we were suckers. this class is nonsense we never did anything she makes you do this useless 5 min presentations and then an 8 page case study that she doesnt explain until its due it was just ridiculous.

She throws up in the middle of class, what teacher does that?! She is the most UNORGANIZED teacher i've ever had and i wouldn't recommend her unless you think fellow college students are qualified to teach b/c she won't teach you. also, if you're not interested in her family migration and whereabouts, you wouldn't want to take this class!

I didn't mind this class. Tests are easy if you pay attention and look at your book. She gives you outlines of the chapters that are pretty much what the test is about. One paper. Not too bad. She is very helpful

IT IS UNREAL TO ME THAT A UNIVERSITY WOULD ACTUALLY ALLOW A PROFESSOR LIKE THIS TO TEACH ANY SUBJECT MATTER AT ALL. SOME PEOPLE WERE MEANT TO WRITE AND OTHERS TO TEACH. Worst teacher, DONT TAKE HER. I stressed over this class. She made the class do a project which she hardley expliained. She doesnt teach at all, has the students present the chapaters, however, if a student does a poor job she does not clarify. Do youself a favor, dont take her.

People tend to throw around the phrase "bored to death" pretty loosely. When I use it in describing this prof, though, I'm entirely serious. She is so boring I felt in danger of physically dying. If you're forced to take her, do yourself a favor and sit in the back with a gameboy or ipod. It's really the only way to escape with your sanity intact.

I dread this class every week. She is a nice lady but is so unclear in every way. She keeps you the whole time, no exceptions ever. If she claims she letting you out early, it's literally 4 minutes. Heed this advice, you will really regret taking this class and professor.
