I love Doc Rock! Such a great professor, with a real passion for this field. Her experience shows, and her helpful tidbits for those not in practice should definitely be heeded! Can't wait to take her for classes in future! Explains concepts in different manners, typically using a real life scenario, which is great critical thinking!

Comment:

I took the online portion with professor Rockafellow, and while the material is straight-forward, she was nearly impossible to contact and work with. Average email response time was 5 days, which is exasperating at best. Like mentioned, the material itself is straight-forward, but you have to study the material well in order to pass the tests

Very tough coarse. If you pay attention to the more common things or things she clearly points out, you'll do fine. The quizzes online are hard to keep up with because she does quizzes for both lecture and lab. Lab, is also tough. Riding parasites up until midterm+final. Then after that is gets easier. Final for Lecture and Lab was tough

I took the lecture portion with her, online. She supplies you with a powerpoint and notes for each chapter, but definitely read! If you don't read, you won't pass any of the tests or quizzes. You definitely have to work hard for this one but it is totally worth it!

She was the worst doesnt email you back, doesnt care. She is the absolute worst needed to drop out a week before my final because she was failing because my moodle was not working and she refused to email me back. I emailed her everyday for a month straight no response but the second i dropped she emailed me saying could have asked for help from me

One of the finest professors in the program! This is a tough class to memorize all the drugs and such, but she is clear on what she wants (catsjust don't do it). She is funny and makes the class fun. You need to work for your grade in this class. there is 3 exams 1 cumulative final 2 case studies and an open book/ note quiz per "lesson". Good luck

Dr. Rockafellow takes after her name she rocks! I love her teaching style, she's one of the few teachers I know that loves teaching! You have to be on your toes for the quizzes and exams they ALL REQUIRE alot of STUDYING AND PAYING ATTENTION. If your not LAZY then you'll do fine.

Dr. Rockafellow is amazing! She teaches with such clarity! I really reccommend her because of her personality, teaching style, and enthusiasm. You can always opt for an easy prof, but you will never be able to learn as much as you would with her. She is the reason why I will be successful in the future.

Doc Rock is the best! Not only is she a teacher, but she is an expert veterinarian! She is so nice,energetic, and also very helpful! If more people decide to take her class, they would probably think twice about giving negative thoughts to animals. She is also very passionate about her work with both people and animals, that the animals love her!

Doc Roc is the best professor in the vet tech program. She is compassionate about what she lectures. However, her classes are no picnic..she makes you work really hard for the grade. She usually lectures the tough subjects and is always willing to help her students succeed! She's just super wonderful and animated professor!!!

Dr. Rockafellow is by far the best teacher in the Veterinary Technology program at Bergen. I have never met a teacher so concerned with student progress. It's refreshing. She is always willing to offer extra help. I just can't say enough wonderful things about her. I will truly miss her when I graduate.

Dr Rock knows her subject, and seems to love it. She's fair, as any good professor should be. If you want A's for simply showing up, you won't find that with her (& what are you doing in school, anyway?) She's a little tough, but interesting at the same time. I looked forward to her classes.

Teaching skills consist of reading off notes, can not clarify information without reading out of the book. Teaches inaccurate information. Handed out a diagram of a mammalian cell that was actually a bacterial cell. Run as fast as you can...

During lectures, Dr. Rock keeps your attention with her great sense of humor while sharing her experiences. Her classes are challenging and she does expect you to know your stuff to keep you on your toes. She is overall a great person.
