This was a super easy, and valuable online class. He lets you know exactly what he wants from assignments, and they are easy A's if you follow the rubric. There are 2 exams, which stick exactly to the study guide and ask you to demonstrate what you learned in class. Then there are little weekly assignments, and 3 bigger projects.

Prof Keehn is a REALLY nice guy. Loved listening to his devotionals in class. The class is pretty lecture heavy and isn't super riveting. If you follow the study guides and rubrics for the paper you'll get an A. He has a very interesting perspective on life; and is always available outside of class. You DON'T need the book! Would take again!

His grading scale is tough. If you complete all the requirements adequately, it's a B. You have to "surprise" him to get an A. However, you never know what will "surprise" him because it's not listed in any instructions. He goes off on a lot of random stories.

I took this online class because I had to take 18 units my last semester and didn't want to have to go to 6 classes. The professor never wanted to answer my questions when I would email him no matter how much I emphasized that I had already checked the syllabus and still needed clarification. There was tons of work too that never ended

I've had Prof Keehn for many classes as a CM major. He's a youth pastor through and through; for youth classes, awesome. It definitely bleeds into non-youth classes. He loves his students and (affirms this often). Can be confusing/inconsistent in expectations/grading. Not sure what I learned in a few 2 unit classes, sometimes not very concrete.

At times ridiculously easy, but at other times unreasonable. Disorganized (he lost one of my assignments). Taught more like a youth group than a college class. I really wanted to learn the inductive Bible study method, but never felt that he taught it at a college level. A lot of pointless work with little learning.
