Really have to work for it. By the time I got to the end of the course, I realized how much work there really is. A lot!! you have to stay engaged and make him aware of your presence. Jokes a lot, dont take it to the heart. The presentation is tough, and very critiqued, but at the end you really learn from it

Comment:

The material is hard, and time has to be put into it in order to do well in the class, but its worth it. David communicates information exceptionally clearly and efficiently, adds humor, and uses relevant examples to make connections between course material and the real world. Exams are well made and portioned appropriately. I reccomend him 100%!!

I learned a lot in his class. He is funny and very sweet with his students. He cares about everyone and always gives good feedback to his students. He is one of Baruch's best professor I have ever had.

He talks about Trump in every class and how he hates him which is really not okay. He expects you to know the answers to all of his questions rather than explaining it like all professors do. I had to pay a tutor to prepare for his tests because I learned nothing from him. NOTHING. He expects you to know all the finance vocabulary ahead of time.

David Falk is that professor who actually makes Baruch College great. You will have to work hard to get an A in this class but boy, you will learn a lot! He is a real professional who understands students and can help you success. Highly recommended!

He is one of my favorite professors at Baruch, he explains everything crystal clear and his notes are even better. Assignments and exams were pretty much straight forward and there were no surprises. Take him if you want to learn!

The professor was always there to help therefore if you want to get a high grade, just show him your material before the presentation and he will give you suggestions to improve. Learned lots of new knowledge that is relevant in the business world today and became a better speaker after the course. Also, the class was never boring(:

Very easy going professor. Full of knowledge, and his course is very straight forward. I scored less than 20 for the Globus project, and still walked away with an A. The presentation and report is HUGE. Do well on that and you will be okay. Attendance is taken every single day.

I had a really great experience with Falk (and I am a guy and got an A)! He was clear in expectations and a very fair grader! He's not just your teacher, but becomes a close friend. The guy is truly a genius. Participate and be alive in his class. Presentation is also a big part of the grade! Don't slack! Paper requirement is very minimal. FUN!!!

Grade is most dependent on the presentation ? he gives a guideline and makes it clear on how he wants you to present. Just follow the format, do some research and practice the ppt. Going to the bar doesn?t hurt. Just go to the end of the semester party with your group and hang out for like an hour, but talk to him ? just two minutes will do.

BPL is not an easy class. Baruch has boring and strict professors and there is Falk. I did not feel the class was hard, however, u need to pick your group classmates CAREFULLY otherwise you'll do a lot of work. 2 true/false quizes, 2 EASY globus quizes and THE MOST IMPORTANT PART IS YOUR PRESENTATION. Make sure you do what he tells you to do.

"Great" Professor! David's class is not hard. All classwork is manageable. If you dont do that bad, you get a satisfying grade. He might make a lot of comments on your presentation, but it's all for your improvement and he is not really a harsh grader. Last comment, David should be a politician, cauze he knows finance, economy and has good opinions
