Yes this class is lecture heavy but I am passing with a B right now and Im more than 1/2 way through the semester, and I've actually been to 4 classes tops. He's a really sweet old guy, just hard to follow lectures.

Comment:

It's ironic that he teaches a communication class because he does not use email and still writes with Word 03. I slept for 14 hours one night before class and he put me to sleep again by the end of it. He treats his lectures like stand-up and it's hard to tell what's relevant. He asks questions and sits there for minutes as no one answers.

Extremely boring lectures (fell asleep pretty much every class). Exams come from book and not too much from lectures. Gives few grades (Midterms and papers). Will call you out and stare you down in class if you aren't paying attention/ leave early/ are on your phone or computer.

Your grade is a couple tests and a final. He grades everything 100 years after you hand it in. Doesn't post grades. The only good thing he does is offer extra credit opportunities to go to different lectures. (GO TO THEM, IT WILL SAVE YOUR ASS). The class is easy if you can study. If not, he is no help.

He is horrible, he does not teach and only talks about how much he hates his family and how he does not like the way technology is now. Also his test are ridiculous he has 72 t/f and 14 short answer. I suggest not to take him.

Dr. Tucker is never on topic. I feel like I haven't learned a thing in this course. He doesn't post grades and really doesn't seem like he cares. His exams ask questions where you have to explain exact theories and know exactly what multiple people think on one topic. I would not take another course he teaches.

Very easy class! He is very boring though. He gives you three exams and one paper, plus a final. But he tells you exactly what he is going to put on the test and posts all the notes on blackboard. All you really need to do is attend class and just sit there and you will do just fine. I would take one of his classes again because it was so easy.

Doctor Tucker is rude and not helpful at all. I cannot even begin to explain how frustrating his class is. He REFUSES to post ANY grades on blackboard or ever e-mail them to you. You have to meet him in his office hours to know what you have in his class. There are only a few tests and one essay. Slow grader. Horrible teacher. Time to retire, Doc.

Tucker is a very nice man, but an awful professor. He is too old to still be teaching, and his age definitely gets in the way. He may mean well, but he is very lazy, has no interest in the class, and he once told our class that he lost our essays so he may just give out random grades. He may have been joking, but Im pretty positive he was serius

Dr. Tucker, it is time to retire. He almost seems like he doesn't want to be teaching the class. Only grades in the class were 4 tests, no extra credit/corrections at all. Consisted of about 50 true/false and 10 essay questions. This class killed me. Class average for tests was a C-, still no curve at all. I thought this class was going to be easy.

He is a horrible professor if you are a communications student go to another college, because he isn't the only one, there might be only 3 or 4 good professors in that department. He forces his views on you and pulls power trips. He also only teaches the part of the text book that he wants to, instead of what he is being paid to teach.

I had him first semester freshman year. He talks about cats. I thought that was funny, as well as how he made fun of people for walking out during lecture. Man oh man, this dude is pretty boring, but I got an A in his class so I thought it was pretty easy!

Not a bad teacher overall but defiantly not the best. Went off topic a lot, talks more about football and his hearing aids then he does the topic of the class. Everyone says his tests are hard but if you actually study his online guides its not to bad.
