Comment:

She is such a sweet professor! She has helped me become more comfortable in front of the class. She is very smart and caring and I really enjoyed her lectures. There is a lot of material to cover and her test is difficult so have to put in the time to get a good grade.

Comment:

This class was very time consuming. We spent 2 months on "situation analysis" for a real startup client and it came out to 20 pages. 4 tests, get to drop 1 (even the final) and mostly straight from the book so you have to READ to pass this class. The tests also contained some questions from guest lectures.

I got great grades in other marketing class because of this class. I took her class over the summer. she is very knowledgeable , n will teach you consumer behavior in marketing at its best. one of my fave class, felt very fortunately to have her as a professor. After her class you will see the " in-between the lines " on mkt ads. gr8 Prof.

I would recommend. Its a tough class but if you follow her instructions for the group assignment and actually work at the pace shes has set up, I don't get why or how you could fall behind. Her lectures are bad, Ill agree with the students on that, but her exams were easy if you studied the book. Introduce yourself at one point in the semester!

There r 4 exams, you can drop one but they're extremely detailed I read the book and still did really bad on all of them. The first and most important thing you will ever do is get a good group! Please do not just sit there and expect to be put into a group, choose wisely ask their gpa it is for the sake of your grade, dnt b shy. She rushes lecture

I believe she is the best professor in MKT department. I had a lot of fun in her summer class. She is smart and helpful. One presentation, one paper and one final exam.Try to meet some people in the class. This is not an easy A class but it's easy to get a B from her. Love this class.

Test is mostly from book. you must read it. little bit of test from lecture. the project is HARD and you must get a good team or else you'll fail. Good teacher, although she rushes through class and is out of breath. She is very passionate about her work.

I really liked Professor Heisley!! Her tests are kind of hard, so you do have to study for them and read the book or get notes from someone who has the book. You do have a Marketing Plan to do which is a semester long project so make sure you have a good group and stay on top of your tasks. I would definitely take her again. Oh wait, I already am!

Worst class I've ever taken in my life. I am a straight A student, but my semester was miserable thanks to her. She is confusing and does not want to help you. Her TA grades everything, so make sure to meet with the TA for advice if you want an A on the project. Her exams are hard, covers many chapters but asks small details .

Everything is laid out for you in the syllabus. The marketing plan is due in sections weekly but at the end, if you have done everything correctly, is just a matter of editing, aesthetics, and turning it in. Midterms are hard but manageable. Take her, you learn a lot but be prepared to put in the time.

This is a nightmare class I have ever had. Tests are VERY difficult. You have to work in a group to do a GIAN marketing plan that is terrible. STAY AWAY FROM HER BY ALL MEANS or YOU WILL SUFFER FROM THE CLASS

4 exams,first 3 are 7-8chapters each and final exam is cumulative. However, she drops the lowest score of 4 so if you do good on the first three no need to take final. However, tests are really difficult and detailed. The marketing plan is big so get a good group their is a portion due each week.Buy online access to study and go to TA for help.

Horrible Professor. I averaged a B- on the tests and was 20th in the class. She makes her TA grade the marketing plan,(which is 40% of your grade) even though he doesn't know what he is talking about. Her lectures don't teach you anything. However, she puts questions on her test from class. Overall, the worst professor I had at CSUN.

Those lazy students always waited until the last minute to study & got bad grades. They always blamed on the Professor & her TA. If no body could get A in this class, they might be able to say that, but the fact is many people get A. Except the MKT plan since people didn't knoe how to do group work efficently.

Make sure to get a good group for the paper. She is very specific in what she wants in the paper. It is a lot of work & go to her TA for help, b/c they are the one grading it! Not her since she's lazy. Our ended up 50+ pages. She gives too many exams too close together.. it's crazy. Tip: study the definitions in the book! Got an A.
