Sometimes she gets off track, but it is always in an interesting way. Very understanding of life events and deadline extensions. Her exams are fair and lectures are thorough.

Dr. Emer is wonderful! I also took her psy 223 class. She gets really into her lectures and its very easy to follow along and want to be engaged in what shes talking about.

Wonderful professor, my favorite this semester. She really knows what she's talking about. Dr. Emer is a very busy woman and had to run to meetings after class, but she puts students first. Very engaging and smart woman. She provided us with study guide questions, which helped tremendously for exams. I definitely recommend taking a class with her

Great professor all around. She's very easy going. If you need help with something, go see her! One of the busiest professors I know, but always makes time to help. If you study her slides from lecture, you are all set for her tests. Might I say, it is not an easy A. You have to work for it, but she is very clear cut as too what you need to know.

Dr Emer teaches criminal psych with impressive skill and the airtight organizational skills of a veteran lawyer. Lectures composed of Powerpoint slides, which is a bit of a shame given her talent for guiding great class discussions/interactive exercises. Tests difficult but fair. Daily quizzes are helpful for keeping core concepts fresh. Good prof

Dr. Emer was one of the best professors I have had thus far. It was easy to pay attention in class and it was very apparent that if you did not review the course material on a regular basis you would do poorly. I would recommend her to everyone!

Dr. Emer is a great teacher. She gets you interested in class, and provides everything you need to know for the tests. You have bi-weekly tests or a quiz ever class. That sounds bad, but it actually really helps. Would recommend her class to anyone!

Dr. Emer is full of energy and makes it very easy to pay attention to her classes. I've had her for 3 Psych classes, and she is without a doubt my favorite Professor. She sends the notes the night before, I suggest copying/printing them before class and adding to them as class goes on. The tests aren't easy, but as long as you study you're golden.

Extremely passionate about her field, and extremely intelligent. Classes are easy if you take the time to do the work as instructed. Hands out notes prior to class-quizzes are taken right from notes.
