Great guy. He's clear and doesn't give a ridiculous workload. I really enjoyed his classes but make sure you do the work. Falling behind is one of the worst things to do. He gets really happy when his students show an interest in the class and has a sense of humor. I absolutely recommend him.

He is a great teacher and really cares about his students. His powerpoint notes are very clear and helpful. The homework consists of fairly easy papers due the end of each month. I would definately recommend Dr. Bayer for any Psychology class

Dr. Bayer may be old but he knows a lot about technology. He's the nicest guy and he's been in the psych field for a long time. Pay close attention in class because he says things that won't be in the book but are on the test. He has all notes online for easy access. I took this class and made him my advisor since I'm a psych major. Great guy.

A great guy. Caring and very knowledgeable on his subject. Class discussions are great, with a lot of personal examples. Homework assignments range from easy to tasking. Quizzes are easy, but exams are tough, and can really mangle your grade. Usually available for help. Overall a great guy, recommended, but use all your notes for tests, or Suffer.

Great teacher, really cares about the students and will help with ANYTHING if you ask him after class or in office hours. Gives out a lot of extra credit also. Tests are easy is you study. Adds a lot of personal examples to keep the class interesting. I would recommend him for any intro psych course, especially if you are going into school psych.

DR. BAYER IS A NICE GUY AND HE LIKES TO MAKE FUNNY JOKES. THE CLASS ITSELF IS HARD, HE DOESNT REALLY GO OVER THE MATERIAL THAT WELL AND THE EXAMS ARE VERY HARD. I WOULD RECOMMEND SOMEONE ELSE.

Dr Bayer is a great guy! Hes really helpful and really nice. Easy class. Lots of group work and open discussion. Tests are all take home. Hes "retiring" though but staying on with one class, one semester a year. If you can get in that one class a year of his do it! Its an easy A

Dr. Bayer is the best! This class is suppossed to be very difficult, but he makes it very resonable. He decided to make all of the tests take home, and our one project a group project. The class is not the most interesting but he is so helpful. Try and take him for 202 if you can

I've had him for 4 classes so far and yes he can be boring at times, but he REALLY knows his stuff and is willing to do anything for anyone. If you're complaining about a bad grade it's because you didn't read the TEXT!! Just do that and his website assignments and you'll be golden. He also curves a lot.

I question whether Dr bayer has a legitimate PhD. He is so absent minded and cannot even answer student questions when asked. His teaching assistants do everything, how does he earn his paycheck?Just retire already!
