Dmitry is a very good professor overall. His lectures can be dry sometimes but that's mostly because he gives a lot of examples, which are helpful for the advanced parts of the course. He's relatively lenient when it comes to the final grade since he curves the grades based on his perception of how hard the tests/hw were.

Barely speaks above a whisper. Makes a few half-hearted attempts to quiet people down but doesn't really seem to care. Couldn't hear him at all in class so I stopped going and started reading the book. He stuck to the book so it wasn't a problem. Homeworks, tests and quizzes all seemed fair to me. A little upset cause I liked the subject.
