He is very loud and active but you have to speak up for him to here. He is a great teacher if you pay attention ( I didn't lol ) . His tests are extremely easy because he tells exactly the types of problems that is gonna be on the test and he also gives a study guide. He is very funny.

He is very loud, he actually tries students to pay attention. You have to be loud for you to ask him a question. He gives a study guide . As long as you study the study guide , his class is easy. Just pay attention to him. He is a little funny as well. And more friendly with the girls LOL.

The only thing I didn't like was that he goes through things real fast, so I had to study at home. I love this professor, but I wouldn't take him for the higher math levels. Got A

If Professor Masiello taught every class of math, I will attend each and every one :) Very charismatic, warm-hearted, keeps you intrigued but is also very organized and punctual about what is and isn't on the test, and self-written tests so just study carefully off of notes/lectures. I was more enthusiastic about math than I am of the A I received.

What a great teacher! He's funny, smart, and keeps you awake in class :D. He loves teaching which only helps you become more interested in the class. I highly reccomend hime. His lectures are clear and to the point. Never hesitate to ask him questions. He loves it.

Prof Masiello was a really nice teacher! He cares alot about the students who put in effort. if you think you got a certain grade on a test, it ends up being a whole grade higher than you expected, cause he curves his test!! He yells a good amount during his lectures but isn't intimidating. bring your book everyday or he'll call you out!

Best math teacher ever! Very clear, funny and enthusiastic! Curves every chapter test, and will clarify any questions that you may have. Attendance is a must since math concepts build on top of one another. Got a B at the end of the semester and felt that I learned more in this class than all 4 years of high school math. I highly recommend him.

Best math professor I have ever taken. Look I have problems concentrating in class and usually drink coffee before so that I can really focus. In masiello's class, I didn't have to because hes THAT stimulating with how he teaches. Pretty good math teacher. If you've ever taken Prof. Chaffee, they are POLAR OPPOSITES. As I said, hes simply the best!

masiello is a good professor if you are not really good at Math but it's not easy to have an A if you are bad at Math. He is understandin and a very sweet old man, but if you get low grades he would fail you, i'm good at Math and sometimes he was confusing so you have to study by your own.

What made his class fun and interesting is his motivation and energy that he consistently exerted throughout the semester. It was hard for me to fall asleep in his class because he made math fun and enticing to learn. I really recommend him to anyone who wants to appreciate math like he does. As a bonus, his tests are really easy and curves them

Masiello is a great teacher. Yeah, he yells a lot (I'd say "easily excitable"), but thats just his personality...he's loud. All you gotta do to pass his class is (1)stay awake (or he gets "excited") and (2)do the homework. I left all his tests thinking he coulda made it MUCH harder. Problems are right out of the homework (hence #2). Final was cake.

what can i say? prof. masiello single handedly saved my college career. Math has always been the gatekeeper with me with school, and math would never let me pass that gate...until i took prof. mas....he will work with you people..he will give u chance after chance after CHANCE to succeed. he curves very generously too. u will pass. TRUST ME
