He doesn't even talk about Biology at all. He talks about anything BUT Biology in fact. He has drawings and they look like a candyland board that isn't colored. However, I did manage to pull a B- as my final grade and I hardly went to class. The book, which he wrote himself, made a little more sense than he did. The final exam was a paper.

The grading curve is so high that you can add 20% to all your exam scores. 84/105 is a A, a 30/105 is a D. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK, you do not need it. Don't show up to class, you only need to sometimes to know when the exam dates are. For the exams, allocate a hour to memorizing the answers he gives on the review sheet and guess for the rest.

Worst professor so far. He wrote the book, which you will NEVER use. He also attempts to draw his own diagrams. This man is philosopher not a scientist.

He wrote the book, but it reads like a mash up of Archaic Psychology and a philosophy book. He rambles on random things, the majority of which have no connection to the lecture. Some Topics: "We're all Black people", "Children are born Feral", "The Egalitarian, Patriarchal, Nuclear Family" and my favorite "Conservatives don't believe in science".

Super easy class, but you learn nothing about bio. He teaches the exact same way he says students shouldn't be taught. Get all the answers for the pre-tests. They're the exact same thing as the tests.

He's a sweet man but his lectures are random.He tries to talk about stuff that deals w/life & w/bio & bring them together that's why the lectures are a little random.He gives you sample ?'s & a studyguide with the pg #'s on it if you read those you'll pass.& attendance isn't mandatory just go when he gives out the notes.I take my laptop daily

I'm in bio right now and this teacher is ridiculous. Does anyone actually know what he is even talking about? It isn't even biology it's his own retarded ideas that he makes up and forces you to memorize!!! He shouldn't even be aloud to teach, period.

Worst teacher at Toledo. Sure its an easy class but Pribor is completely ridiculous. He makes up all his own terms and what he teaches is nothing like science. Its his own bizarre interpretation of philosohy that sounds vaguely of intelligent design. He personifies the arguement against tenure.

I was intimidated after the first day, because your grade is determined by 3 exams and either a final or a paper. It ended up being really easy though. He gives you over half of the questions and answers for exams. Attendance isn't necessary because the lectures are pointless but he gives out answers each day. As long as you study you will get an A

A complete waste of my time. You don't need to get the book. I paid 100 for the book...never used it and got 9.50 back. Good for an easy B or A if you study a little, but horrible if you want to learn anything about Bio.

This class was stupid. I wasted my time with this class. He gives you the answers for more than half of the test so that was easy enough. I didn't show up to class and I got an B+ in the class. Don't buy the book. I just returned it and got $9 back.

OK, if you need an easy science credit, and don't need to continue to other Bio classes, take him. If your required multiple Bio classes, don't take him. He is an easy grade, but not much on science. He doesn't teach Biology... its Priborology.

Comment:

This professor was very unclear. This class is a glorified philosophy class with biology undertones. If you are looking for biology straight up and nothing else, this is not the class nor the professor for you. He does, however, curve test score insanely high so it is apparently difficult to fail. Biased and pointless, his beliefs, not fact.
