He is very complex and has high standards for his students. He is intelligent and his family inteliigent and you most likely won't live up to his standards, but he does work with students that aren't lazy. There were plenty of times where I felt like a moron in his class, but I tried. If you're lazy then you deserve to fail. Hardwork = success.

This professor(if he can be called a professor) is the worst professor out there, The subject matter includes revolting and offensive sexual subject material. The class i attended was a complete waste of my 1500 dollars and time. I completely disrespect art after attending this class(art in the modern period) I would recommend avoiding this teacher

He is the worst professor I have ever had, he is stubborn, he constantly babbles about random things. He never tells us what he expects from us, assignments are always vague and blank and without meaning. Opt out of his class! Drop it! I saw others do it and I thought I would be able to survive his class, but no I feel like not coming anymore.

Donald Wellman is the worst teacher I have EVER had in my life. He is the most random, weirdest, non-teacher like person I have met. He should not be a teacher. AVOID HIM. Save yourself of the misery. I dread this class everyday

He is incoherant and talks in circles. During his class, he will randomly stop talking and just ask somebody where they are from or something along those lines, and we lose like 20 minutes of class. He also gives assignments that have nothing to do with our class, last class for example, we listened to birds mating while reading Thoreau

Comment:

One of the most thought provoking and engaging professors that I have had the pleasure of working with. I am thankful of all of the work that he put into his classes. It was an honor and a privilege to study under him. He forever changed my way of looking at the world. I worked hard for the grad I received and was proud of my accomplishment.

I must agree with most of the above statements that this Professor is among the worst instructors I've ever had. There is basically nothing you can do right in his class. He humiliates students in front of the class and tries to force his "worldly" views on everyone. Not interested man! I would strongly recommend students avoid taking his class

This guy sucked ass. Unless he likes your writing style, you'll fail. Avoid him at all costs. He likes to insult students in class while he's teaching lessons and he doesn't give any helpful comments other than the fact that your paper isn't "well structured."
