He is a great professor and he is also department chair so that is an added bonus if you take him. He gives really good feed back allows you to re do assignments. He is really laid back but he is a bit of a tough grader nothing crazy though. He takes attendance it is a part of your grade. Show up do the assignments and you will be fine. :)

Awesome class. Most of your time is in the dark time. His power points are a little dull, but you learn so much and get creative in his class. He is very helpful and super easy. You feel so welcome right away. You can't help but love him and your time in the darkroom.

I was worried about his laid-back style at first, but turns out he's awesome and very easy to work with. He's leaves things up to your own interpretation and is big on ideas more-so than techniques. Really knowledgable guy and funny to boot! Enjoyed his class very much.
