Terrible terrible terrible. I took her online class because she had good reviews. This is the worst Criminal Justice class I have ever taken and I regret doing so. She DOES NOT make things clear. She will say something is due at a certain time and then change it. Also, the quizzes are way too hard. Don't waste your time, money, and GPA.

she does give participation points in class. but you will want to go to her class. she talks a lot but you learn a lot. she funny and keeps you listening. Played videos in class and had guest speakers. you should take her!!

Two tests in class. Theyre easy if you read the chapters and memorize the definitions. Plenty of opportunities for the papers you have to write (only four). Took trips to prison and jail.

Comment:

Dr. Grossi is awesome. She has tons of unique and interesting experience in Corrections, and she shows lots of eye opening movies and other material. She brings in guest speakers, and took us to tour a prison & a jail. She does everything she can to help you. The tests and papers are easy if you pay attention in class. Attendance isn't mandatory.

She liked to talk about herself a lot. There were a few papers due but they weren't hard. The tests were easy if you studied from the book. She gave lots of opportunities to go on field trips to prisons which was really interesting. You don't have to go class every single time which is nice.

Good teacher, I honestly thought Corrections was a very boring class, but I'm not a CJ major. She makes it better, actually has a personality and sense of humor unlike some teachers. Class was short (Something like 1/2 the semester), so take that into consideration. Boring Class; Easy Class; Great Professor

not an easy A but she does make the content easy to understand. she's hilarious and really tries to make the class participate. there's only 2 exams in which the study guides she makes are extremely helpful and 4 writing assignments which can save your grade. only bad part is the textbook was dense and powerpoints are long... take her if you can!!

Her lectures are heavy, this is college. It's what you signed up for. She tries her best to make it fun and interesting. Doesn't care if you show up. also doesn't care if you do poorly if you don't show up. Do your best and she is amazing and helpful if you need her. Always admits to HER teaching mistakes when she has them. Three semesters with her

This was honestly my favorite class last semester, very interesting, and we watched several movies that were very eye-opening. There is no hw, just tests, and she offers extra credit on tests. Attendance isn't really necessary since she puts the powerpoints online, but the class is super interesting, so I wouldn't skip it. Professor is very helpful

Great teacher, wonderful classes,always willing to help a students out and I learned alot. I have a great deal of respect for this instructor for her professional attitude and for serving her country. I consider myself lucky to have been one of her students. when grossi is teaching she does a great job, but rarely does this occurr. she fills her class time with videos, group projects and pop quizzes. Also, does not post grades on blackboard timely. Not a whole lot of learning comes from her behalf...students are left to completing busy work.

great teacher. test are easy. BUY THE STUDY GUIDE. questions from the test come STRAIGHT from the study guide. we even went on two optional field trips to the womens prison and to the lousiville metro jail. shes great.

Tests come straight fromthe book. Extra credit questions come from the movies she shows in class. Kind of a boring lecturer though, she just reads what is written on the PP slides. "Review" sessions are so broad that they are practically useless! A good professor if you like to learn on your own by reading the book. STUDENT STUDY GUIDE IS A MUST!!!
