One of the best profs I've taken to date. Just do the homework assignments and participate once in a while in class. *Highly recommend you sitting in the front row.* Tests are clearly formatted and he gives credit wherever he can. He knows how to teach in a way that is both effective and engaging! He really prepares you for the exams.

Took him based of the reviews he got, but trust me he wasn't nearly as good as they put him out to be. The material is explained in a rush and if you ask a question, you will get a very arrogant response in return. The tests are very unpredictable and the format is unknown till you actually get to take the tests. The most you can pray for is a B!!

I took this professor because of everyone's rating, and they lied. His class is impossible, this is literally the hardest class I am currently taking. You never know what's on the test. I thought I got an A on the midterm and I barely passed. No one did well on midterm and he didn't curve. Does not grade things. Calls on you randomly. DONT TAKE!

Truly a gem, he is a professor that made a usually difficult topic (lots of material in limited time) understandable. He broke down the topics, and to the best of his abilities made sure students understood the material, while still making jokes and making the class enjoyable. The class is 100% based on tests, but participation helps @ the end.

Amazing professor. Very kind, funny, and interesting lectures. Broke the material down very clear. Do the readings and chapter questions because those mimic the tests. Participate in class because he gives extra points. So helpful and overall a great teacher. Highly recommend!!!

A class that you're going to have to work for, and be prepared every lecture. He calls on students randomly, and if he's asking for something you should know, it'll be mad awkward for you. Besides that, I loved his class. Funny and interesting. Just a midterm, final, arguing a case in front of the class, and mad case briefs, which aren't difficult.

Professor Axelrod is the best law professor at Baruch. He breaks down each topic incredibly well, telling you exactly what you need to know for the exams. Do the reading and pay attention in class, and you will get an A. I have never learned more from a professor. I would absolutely take him again.

I really enjoyed attended this professor's lectures. He is a very lively speaker. I rarely find lectures entertaining, but he is really funny and knows how to keep the classroom engaged. It helps to participate by solving the additional problems at home, even if he doesn't collect them.

I keep a short list of professors at Baruch who deserve to be teaching, he is very near the top. No gimmicks, or weird grading criteria. Read, go to class, do problems on your own, and I guarantee an A, anything less, you better have a great excuse like "I was invited to the white house" or " I was abducted by an Alien"

Be ready to read the textbook. During the class, you will discuss the cases (Participation matters!). He is knowledgeable and knows what he is teaching. You will definitely learn a lot from him. Make sure you have a good note from the lecture. The course can be a bit tough if you are not a native speaker because he does not upload the answers.

Arguably the best professor in the entire business school. His method of teaching made it near impossible to get lower than an A. If you attended every class and paid attention to the problems done in those classes, you could probably ace the exam without ever opening the textbook. He explained the material that well. Axelrod is the man!

If I could choose one professor to teach all of my classes, Axelrod would be it. To say the very least, he knows his law, but more than that, he is a good humored, down to earth guy. The only thing I even remotely regret about taking his class is buying the online textbook; save yourself $50 and just buy it from someone on campus.

Prof. Axelrod was nice, funny, and knowledgeable. His lectures were engaging, entertaining, and very relevant to daily life. There were two midterms and one dept. final. Make sure to do the homework and readings, as well as to listen carefully in class. Take him! This class is going to be genuinely beneficial for your future.

Im not a student that does a lot of the textbook readings and in a class like Law thats a major handicap. Thankfully the lectures were engaging and informative, which made up for my lack of reading. The content is relevant and affected the way I see day-to-day things because I learnt a lot about the laws behind them.

He's the chair of the law department;he knows the law. Be ready to really learn something about contracts. This class is *not* an easy A. Good heavens, also get ready to study your buns off for that midterm. Multiple choice questions in law classes are HARD. He's also hilarious.

He has an intimidating demeanor at first, but as the semester goes on, it becomes obvious that he's a really chill guy. You really need a hard copy edition of the textbook for the homework, because the online edition doesn't have the questions in the back. He picks on randomly sometimes to ensure learning, so be careful! He's an amazing professor!

Great teacher. Highly recommend to take him. 2 tests arent difficult if you study and put in effort. Readings almost every class but if you do them and participate in class then he'll like you more Good grade. He makes up the department final so if you take him, you'll most likely have the questions to the final. Take himmmmm

Great guy. The class was fun and you don't really get bored. The midterm and final see easy if you pay attention in class. Nothing you have to study much for. Not much required hw the readings and questions are optional but helpful
