Dr. Volker is an amazing professor. I had him for general chemistry for the nursing majors. I hated chemistry in high school but he made it so easy and fun to learn! You have to read the book, take notes, and study for the exams. If you do that you should be fine. Wonderful professor....always there to help you when you need it. Take him!

His class is great...I hated chemisrty, but volker made it easy and intresting 4 me, although towards the end of the semester u do get a bit bored in his class, but it is impossible 2 fail!!! Take him if u can

He is a great professor, but he focuses on organic chemistry. In fact, if you don't understand organic chem, your change of passing is cut in half. I got an A on every test of his and found his class to be moderately easy.

I had Dr. Volker for organic chem, and i'm actually sad that this class is over. He is an amazing teacher. Even though organic chem is known to be one of the hardest classes he made learning SO EASY. Definitely take him if you have the chance.

Dr. V is AMAZING! He is such a great professor. I got a "C" in the course but I worked hard and learned A LOT during the time I had him. I highly recommend all nursing majors to take him for Chem 120 & 122! He is too adorable and he is so nice and will go out of his way to help you!!

Very good teacher! He's very thorough when going over material. All homework is extra credit. There are no surprises on his tests. He even gives out practive tests and gives the answers out beforehand. His labs are fun and easy. I have never liked chemistry but I really enjoyed this class.

Volker is a character. Very smart, Very Fair, Very witty. His accent cracks me up, and his antics belong on SNL. Today in class he forgot to return someone's paper, and when they asked him about it he acted confused then crawled under his desk and shouted "OK, ask again". Great Guy A+
