The amazing invisible instructor, in the incredible worthless online class. "Phoning it in" would be a major upgrade in his teaching. "Lectures" straight out of the (lousy) book, with no sign of him for weeks at a time - for this we pay tuition? I'd say "gives teaching a bad name" - except that you'd have to be delusional to call this "teaching."
