by far one of the worst instructor I've taken in my college. Grading was terrible. I end up getting a B out of the class. Geo was no help, outside of class, email corresponding was terrible. I don't know hoe PCC employs such professor. I will ever take a nother course offer by Geo!

Online Flash course was easy to understand and informative. Teacher helped me out by noting if I failed to turn a project in in the wrong format and still gave credit. All around pretty easy with 2-6 hours of homework a week.

He must have learned from his previous mistakes...I found the class easy to accomplish all the way around. Geo kept in constant contact via email and responded to my questions within 24hrs. Course material all seemed to be up to date. If his performance was poor in prior term he has made a turn around.

Cited "technical issues" that kept him from grading assignments or interacting with students at all, then dropped a large portion of the class due to a failure to receive a confirmation email- only informing them at midterm, after four weeks of wasted effort. Then he failed to process their withdrawals and stuck them with failing grades. Awful.

This is an online course, so communication is crucial. This instructor is slow to grade, slow to communicate, and seems very uninterested in teaching or students. Assignments docked for weird reasons without possibility of correction. One of the worst online classes I've ever taken.

Reading a few of the previous comments, wonder who is the great teacher mentioned in several other posts? It is not this guy. Lecture and book did not match, was in no way helpful and did not appear to have any interest in student or subject. 1000% worst prof I have ever had.

Class was easy, if you were sharp enough to ignore the old instructions. I could do a week's homework in 15 minutes. Didn't learn much that was new. Textbook was AWFUL and cost $98.70! I included everything in final project that was required, but he didn't notice and marked me down for omitting them. Okay for beginners maybe, but I was bored.

The instructor was teaching a Flash CS4 class using Flash MX 2004 tutorials. In 6 years I believe the teacher has had plenty of time to update his videos. He was also very slow to respond to emails and students needed to help each other to get by. This teacher needs to put more effort into his class if he wants to have a class at all.

Absolutely 100% the worst teacher & experience I have had at PCC. Taught material from previous textbook which did not coordinate with current textbook;when this was pointed out did not update material but continued to assign readings from book we were not using.Horrible.

There's a knowledgeable teacher and a nice guy in there, but it's hard to get to him. Granted, the book is awful and the material taught from isn't his, except those still-good videos, but the lack of response is hard to accept or excuse. Appears the man has just too much on his plate at this point.

His course was easy to take, if you are able to read instructions well you'll do fine in the class, He's not very helpful when it comes to questions, I was signed up for his Flash class winter term 09 and dropped it since he answers my emails with sentences like "I dont know" or "refer to your book" or doesn't answer them at all!

Enthusiastic instructor who teaches students at their level. Explored some of the cooler and more arty uses of Flash. Made a difficult course fun! Also answered questions in person and thru emails. Friendly and fair, so I plan on taking more classes from GG. HW not too bad- not too much and no BS busy work.

I've taken both DreamWeaver (Winter term) and Flash (Spring term) courses online from Geo. This was my first time with an online class and at my age I was concerned whether I could cut it. He is an amazing instructor, using a textbook, his own lessons online and his own movie clips, which are extremely helpful. He was also fantastic about answeri

Took for (online) Intro to Dreamweaver and Flash. Easy instructor but if you want to do more advanced work than what he's teaching he's not really that helpful. But, the classes were great and taught a lot. If you're looking to learn CSS, take someone else or wait until Intermediate Dreamweaver.

Geo Grant is the best online instructor I have had. His lessons are very clear with video clips taking you step by step through the process. He should sell his videos with the program so people could teach themselves and refer to them as needed. Highly recommended.

Geo is an intelligent, capable instructor who took the time to relate his own experiences with us in the classroom and make them relevant to the discussions at hand. I found him very helpful whenever I had a question. Unlike most of my instructors, he did not just tell us to read the book and then read it back to us in class, he gave us informative, fun, effective exercises and maintained a pretty good attitude throughout both semesters I had him.
