Comment:
Brilliant professor, very organized. So meticulous it may bother some. Be prepared to participate because he has a roster, if you're not prepared he'll save you for another day. Exams: read the questions very carefully and the footnotes (yes, he adds footnotes, even diagrams) it's very easy to miss things because it's one super LONG essay question.

Comment:
Class is very hard to follow. Hard to get the important issues out of the lecture, but he makes sure to answer all questions, and is quick to offer help if you need it. Supplements are highly recommended. Issue spotting portion of the exam was very fair. Multiple choice was incredibly difficult, but also fair.

Comment:
Vetter is extremely smart but perhaps too nice. He won't cut anyone off and won't come right out and tell someone they are wrong. This makes class confusing, tedious, and hard to follow. Overall, sweet professor who cares about the students. Exam was ridiculously hard; unexpected given how nice/relaxed he was in class.

Comment:
Greg Vetter has a one-track mind. Unfortunately, that track winds and bends into a terrifying knot. If the class gets him off on a tangent, it's almost guaranteed that you won't finish discussing the day's assignment. Vetter is nice, polite, and smart, but he needs to keep the class focused on what's important.

Comment:
he's good natured but amazingly bland presentation makes class difficult to follow; reading is reasonable; makes slides which is a plus; audio provided for lectures--but would be careful not to listen to these near a window or next to anything sharp

Comment:
Very clear and straightforward (albeit scripted) presentation. (Even his jokes are clearly scripted into his class presentation). Although class lectures are clear, the tests are not. His tests are very, very difficult and are probably too long to realistically complete in the given time. Make sure to carefully review the footnotes.

Comment:
Vetter is really nice and fairly straight forward. He moves through the material slowly to make sure everyone is on the same page. His test is awful. His essays are long and confusing (especially his footnotes), and there is barely enough time to finish.

Rock solid presentation. Kept the course on track, even when students tried to sidetrack him. Provides students with slides and audio recordings of every class (via his web site).
