He is very nice. I love the way he teach you. You should work hard to be an good programmer. And it's easy to get an A in his class and you will have a great experience in coding.

Dose not make an effort to help students who are struggling with class. If a student dose bad on one of his test he laughs at them and tells them to drop class. He thinks he is the "worlds best" programmer, making fun of other people's code etc.Grading System is: If works 80%; if code to his standard 90%; not possible to get 100% apparently.

I attended this class and I liked it. Mr. Pham was very helpful in explaining the concepts that are not easy to understand. Very patient very nice.

With out a doubt the worst teacher i have ever had. Extreamly difficult to understand, rambles about unrelated topics. Assigns near impossible homework (due to not informing you how to get it done). Frequently mocks his students when they ask for help. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS IF PHAM IS YOUR TEACHER!!!

This class covers a lot of material -- so, you must keep up with the reading if you want to do well. Teacher is very good, knowledgeable, helpful & friendly. Labs are great, just wish there was more time to do even more labs, since that's where you get hands on experience. Exams/tests are on line and if you study, you can do well. Awesome teacher.

Comment:

This class is not easy due to sheer volume of the information covered. Be ready to read a lot and study if you want to do well. Great instructor -- his joy for teaching shines through. Extremely knowledgeable and competent. Particularly helpful to those students who try hard; goes out of his way to be helpful, specially in lab. Good sense of humor.

Dreadful class. Course was badly designed and delivered. Instructor spent far too much time on token-ring networks -- to the detriment of other topics. He had no watch or clock and tended to lecture too long on some subjects -- and skip others. He was often hard to understand. His arrogance was annoying. Recommendation: Take this class elsewhere!

Very self-centered! Thinks his way is the only way. Thinks most authors have no idea what they are talking about, yet he hasn't written any books to prove them wrong! Can NOT admit when he is wrong! Spends a lot of time cutting down other teachers.
