Comment:
Awful. Grading terrible, and insufficient. Don't email her, unless you want to feel like a worthless piece of garbage. Matter of fact, just do not take any of her classes. Worst decision and I thought I was going to love this class. HA. What a joke.

Comment:
Hannah's teaching style is not for everyone, she does not seem to be interested in the success of her students and does provide extra credit opportunities but usually in the middle of the day on a weekend where a ticket purchase is necessary at times and there's no promise of full bonus marks. She tends to talk down to students, avoid if you can!

I was really excited for this class and engaged with the material, but the professor was appeared superficial and uncaring for her students. I managed to do well on the tests, but the test questions were confusing, unclear, and contradictory. The professor is rude to students through email and outside of class.

Fun person to be around and her lectures are interesting but DO NOT take her class if you have any sort of extenuating circumstance that would require you to need some leniency because she will not help you whatsoever. She is extremely textbook heavy in terms of readings and she does not offer exam review. She can be blunt/rude over email!

Comment:
Hannah is really nice, her lectures are interesting but she is NO help when it comes to mid-terms/finals! Her outlines are inclusive but she tests you on only a very few things! Which makes her classes hard to study for.. attend class, pay attention and do your readings! You never know what she'll choose to focus in on.

Comment:
Had her for serial and mass homicide, a class I was SO excited for! Problem was, she studies victimology and therefore, tended to focus more on that aspect rather than the killers. She did bring in a profiler which was cool, but her tests are terrible. She doesn't give enough time and picks terrible questions; majority of people failed the midterm.

Tests are tough. Textbook material is on the midterm and final tests. This professor shows lots of in-class videos. Interesting statistics included in lecture. Very helpful when answering questions.

Words alone cannot explain how terrible this professor is. She is a fast talker, talks more about her family and pets than the relevant course material. I did ok in her class but i feel bad for other students. I honestly wouldnt recommend her class for you. FYI: She is a dream killer !!

Comment:
Probably the worse prof I have ever come across, unclear and pointless lectures that bored me to death. Most of the lectures were completely useless as she never gave any information that was going to be asked on exams. There was an obvious lack of communication between her and the TA for the class, who was also ironically the worse TA I also had..

Hannah Scott is an excellent professor. She is hard to please when it comes to the submission of assignments but this should be basic expectation of any professor who wants their students to do well. Textbook use is mandatory; she puts questions on exams in which the answers will only be found in the textbook. Overall, I love her lectures.

Had her for Victimology and Criminal justice. She is horrible. She bombards you with excessive amounts of information then expects you to remember it all for a massive cumulative final exam without giving you an outline or a hint to what the exam will be like. She is a hard marker and makes you do far too much work
