Comment:

He is kind of difficult to understand sometimes because of his heavy accent, kind of rude when you tell him a wrong answer, can go off tangents at times, get boring to listen to and unclear of certain assignments (they are easy though), BUT if you can put up with the way he teaches, it is not hard (try to take notes on the important stuff USEFUL)

HORRIBLE! He was unorganized, wasn't clear on the lectures, rude, he didn't allow his students to voice their own opinions, doesn't use canvas, he doesn't answer to emails, and he would give out random exams that were not mentioned on the syllabus. Although the workload was A LOT! It is doable. He's not a harsh grader which is excellent.

Comment:

Dr. Singh is old school. He does not use canvas. He really just wants you to learn. He assigns like 7 articles (short) to read and write a page on, and a final that is a book review paper (3 pages) on a book of your choice. There is also 2-3 presentations. Easy!!! I got As on everything. He wont ask you to hand in things, just go up to him with it.

Comment:

Dr. Singh is great. He's very old fashioned, giving basic lectures and writing on the whiteboard, but he knows his material inside and out. People complain because he doesn't use technology but if you just take notes and listen in class you'll pass. This is my second course with him and I'd take him again.

The class was just straight up boring. He scribbled one letter on the board and talked about something completely different. Definitely regret taking this class. Do yourself a favour and drop it when you have the chance or just dont even take it with him.

Terrible class. He lectures every day but his lectures just consist of him mumbling bits and pieces of the lessons that do not make any sense together. The grades are based off a midterm, final, final project and just a few homework assignments. He is unclear on what he wants you to study yet also insults you if you answer something wrong.

The biggest waste of time and money. Should have dropped out when I had the chance. He will write a word on the board and then ramble on and go off track for the entire class. Most of the time you won't be able to understand him. He will assign you a project or test with very little detail on what its about. Doesn't use canvas.

He lectures heavy every class and doesn't like when students use their phones/laptops. To get a good grade in this class, you need to show up and do the homework. He gives easy homework. Make sure to ask him questions about the assignments because he is very vague. Graded on homework, one presentation, and 2 tests.

Overall you barely understand him. There is no clear explanation to anything and is all over the place. Sometimes isn't nice to people. This class overall was a waste of time. Very easy class though.

He's a very nice guy but his lectures are hard to follow. Someone mentioned this before but he literally writes one word on the board, talks about it for 15 mins, and then spends the next hour going off on tangents. It's impossible to take notes. Also, he doesn't use canvas so you have to keep track of your grade yourself.

Literally the definition of tragic. He's painfully difficult to understand and extremely disrespectful to the students and never answers your questions directly. Avoid this man at all cost. I can't even put a final grade for this class because he never logs any of the grades. Literally nothing.

Horrible class. He is so disrespectful sometimes and completely unclear with almost all of his assignments. Besides being hard to understand, his lectures barely teach anything. I feel his rating on here is higher than what is deserved. Not helpful whatsoever. Avoid his class

He was the nicest human being I have ever met. He will work with you and help you with anything. He is seen as boring because he has a very soft voice but he is very smart and has very good information to give.

Cant understand, hard accent. If you like geography you will enjoy it. If you do not I suggest you don't take this class. Can be very boring. If you bring your laptop to class the class will fly by but if not, you will end up falling asleep

Do not take this class unless you like to do chapter summaries, don't like debate and don't want to do hands-on projects. The books to read (four of them) were interesting but you don't need this class to read them. I was bored out of my wits, at the poing of completely losing interest to attend. Should have dropped it while I still could.

He is extremely smart in Science but the syllabus is NOT clear, no schedule or due dates. He talks about the chapters in the course but write RANDOM words on the board as notes.He rambles & goes off subject.The work u are given, must be completed & put into a portfolio that is due last class. Does not tell u what work is suppose to be in portfolio.

the in-class material is usually only slightly relavent to the questions on the exams. you can go to every class, take notes, and study but guaranteed you will not do as well on any test as you would have hoped. he's very unclear and in all honesty just does not know how to properly teach. If you have the option, switch out of his class.
