I took him for writing for the media and he was so nice and helpful. Great teacher. Can rewrite a paper as many times as you want. Just pay attention and read and you'll get an A. Very easy quizzes on the homework reading and he even drops the lowest 3. HIGHLY RECOMEND. He’ll make you enjoy the class too!

He was my best professor. Saying he grades hard is unfair. He expects you to write like a journalist. As someone who took all his classes and got hired at a daily newspaper right after graduation, trust me that every grade and comment he gives is so you can actually do the job someday. Journalism is hard, he isn't a hard grader.

funny. good guy. professor pinkleton alone is helpful in waking up for an 8:15. quizes on chapters (which are easy to read) every mon and he lets you look online for the bonus. it is clear that he wants all of his students to do well in this class.
