Comment:

She does care about her students however, she skips majority of her classes and gives no notice to students that she won't make it. Her lectures in class take about an hour to start because she babbles a lot and she NEVER responds to her emails. You pretty much won't know your grade until after the course is finished.

Comment:

Holly Williams is a great person and teacher. Her exams are hard! Prepare to study. Very heavy on memorization! Very fair and caring person. She tries to save students time and money with the hybrid option where she gives you her own writing to study and you only show up once a week. It's really an awesome format with a great professor.

Prof. Williams was awesome! She really does what she can to help you pass. Easy class so long as you study and do the work. Show up for lab and you're aces.

Comment:

Professor Williams might be the best instructor at SSC! (& I've had a few). She is kind, quirky, and passionate about bio II. Honestly I wish she taught more science classes! W/ that being said its still a science course & you need to prepare for labs & study hard; but she gives a ton of extra credit. Take her!!! You won't regret it!!

Comment:

Taken as hybrid Summer B course. I recommend going to the labs (many skipped) because it is much easier to memorize the plant/animal taxonomy for practicals. Lecture tests make you think, not regurgitate info. Don't buy lab manual. Lectures have everything you need for tests, but get a book for images (free version online). I studied a ton for A+.

Very helpful professor. You can text her at all sorts of hours and she will reply pretty quickly. She does take a long time to grade assignments though. Her tests are pretty hard so be prepared to study a lot.

First off, she is such a sweet lady she is so cute sometimes I can't help but to laugh when she laughs lol. This class was an ok class. She does babble on for way too long. She's very passionate about this class. Her tests are extremely hard.

She cares about every one . all you need to do just study her lecture notes and the tests are based on the notes. nothing extraordinary. questions are straightforward. for a science class i believe she is amazing because she gives all you need to get A and she even says she expects A. she never has attitudes like other professor

this "teacher" does not know how to teach. she will blab on for an hour about something sooo unnecessary that has nothing to do with biology. its pointless to go to class. its the end of the term and we've done two labs. its a easy A but dont expect to learn much from her and her tests are based off her lectures online so theyre easy

Work load wasn't excessive and she gives you plenty of time to complete assignments. Tests are very challenging, be sure to study! They make up most of your grade. Does offer extra credit. You can text her at all kinds of crazy hours and usually get a response back quickly. She does take forever to post grades though! Overall, would recommend her!

She's nice but can't focus when lecturing. It takes her almost an hour to get class started. Huge emphasis on plants; not sure how this class pertains to health majors. First test took a month to be graded. Easy weekly quizzes online, 3 lecture tests, 3 lab practicals. Be prepared to teach yourself. Lectures are posted online & very boring to read.

Very scatterbrained; I could not focus when we did have class. Grades took forever to go up. Did not explain any online material with us in class. I was very confused 99% of the time. Subject was boring and does not relate to my major. She didn't even make me slightly interested.

Very passionate, nice professor. TONS of extra credit. Text lectures posted online lay out everything you need for the tests. Really easy to reach, gives you her number to text or call. Understanding and willing to help you. You'll have to read and study, but if you're not willing to do that, don't take science classes.

Comment:

Professor Holly Williams is a fairly good teacher overall, aside from a few flaws. She is very helpful and is there to better your education (You could text her at 11pm and you will probably get a response in less than 20 minutes). The only problem with this class is that the material is difficult and you have to work hard and learn quick.

Comment:

Professor is moody and forgets everything. Lets students interrupt every five seconds. My course was hybrid and almost nothing was done online, including notification of when classes were cancelled. Lab Practicals were ENTIRELY memorization of utterly useless information. I feel like I learned nothing. Do not take!

She is the only professor ive had for an online class that actually cared about her students and wanted them to succeed. She gives you alot of extra credit opportunities and is very fair. You wont really need the book because everything is based off her lectures. There are alot of tests so pay attention to what is extra credit and what counts.

She posts weekly written lectures which are between 9-16 pages long. I found them hard to understand. She has weekly quizzes to go along as well as 3 exams. She does offer extra credit. Overall I would suggest taking her if you will really read her lectures thoroughly

Comment:

Took the hybrid bio2 twice, both times was awful. Her lectures are just randomly pulled facts and the practicals are complete useless memorization and no application. There are a total of maybe 3 labs and they are not worth much grade wise. Do not take waste of time, money, and a gpa hit. Professor was nice but useless otherwise.
