This guy is a total jerk & bully. Enjoys bullying his students & embarrassing them in front of class. Don't get fooled by his Cornell degree. Lacks sensibility of an educated person. Makes students buy irrelevant books & wastes their money; gives irrelevant assignments. Is also very unfair & biased. NUT is the word that describes him best! AVOID!!!

If you have a tolerance for "crazy" you can do well in this class. The key is taking a deep breath, realizing that this man is nuts and doing what he says to get an A. I did not learn a thing but as long as you pretend like you are into what he is saying it boosts his ego enough to give you a good grade.

You have to do oral presentations. He will make you look like a fool BUT he DOES teach you SKILLS NEEDED IN THE Real world. After all, it is college, he will not hold your hand. He is a bit strange but not a bad class. Its a lot of work but not necessarily hard.

this class was called Parenting so I thought it should be easy plus it was only a 200 level course.I was so wrong! All we did was behavior plans, everyday we went over behavior plans waste of my time. we had one test which was a joke. He wanted us to memorize the entire behavior plan and rewrite it word for word.

He only had 1 quiz. We spent an entire semester discussing how to create behavior plans. There are 2 presentations, 1 on the behavior plan and 1 on a chapter summary. The class seems hard at first because he tries to scare you and it is NOT hard at all, his deadlines are very flexible (even if he seems strict)just pay attention and turn in the work

Very Organized professor. If you are good at presenting and are willing to take the time to really prepare your presentations (on textbook chapters and non-fiction book), then you will do well. However, you will have to submit chapter summaries, so it is a lot of work (I took this class in 05). Not an easy prof, but u will learn. Tests r pretty ez.

i took him for human perception, he is never available always late for class + you never know what your grade is until after the semester is over. He also has the habit of insulting you while you are giving a presentation, he gets off on it.

There's no way around it- Dolezal has a massive ego. Ego aside though, it's worth putting up with in order to hear what he has to say. Do not expect lecture time to be spent covering the text- it won't. Brutally honest in evaluating presentations, but i like that he sets a high standard and expects us to perform. Wealth of external knowledge
