This professor has a really strong accent and I had a hard time paying attention to her. Her lectures are tedious and she doesn't explain the material well, she just does examples of problems on the board and explains as she goes. If you do your HW, which is not mandatory, you can do well.

I am no good at math. At all. This professor was really great and provided timely feedback for any questions I had about the homework and I passed her class with a decent grade. I actually had her at National University. I would recommend her to other students.

She's a awesome professor. She really loves teaching, and she gonna explain everything again if you ask. It's true that she speaks fast, and has an accent, but this is not a issue. Take her, learn math, get a good great, and be happy.

She is a fairly good algebra teacher. I am personally not strong at math, but I got A's and B's on her tests. If you get an answer wrong on a test but your work was correct, she'll knock off a couple of points, rather than marking the entire problem wrong. As for her accent, you'll get used to it.

Comment:

Yes, she has an accent but you will get used to it. I had her for the 6 week winter term and it was a lot of information packed into that time period. It is a tough class but she does what she can to make it understandable. Make sure to study often and study the example problems or you can get behind fast. Overall I'm glad I had her.

She teaches extremely fast, so it's important to take notes and do as much homework as you can. I won't deny that her accent gets in the way of her lectures, but you'll get used to it. For me personally, the tests went from easy to incredibly hard, but I didn't study as much as I could have.

She has a thick accent and goes over sections pretty fast. A front row seat will be fine. If you are terrible in math do not take her, but if your good then an A will be easy. As long as you study a little and take notes you will be fine.

I crashed her class & I wish I had a different teacher. She?s ok IF your base on math is SOLID. I am a returning student, been out of school for 10 years. I had hard time to catch up, especially with her strong accent & her speed when she talks. You need to STUDY HARD & WORK EXTRA HARD in her class to get an A. She doesn?t curve, a hard grader.

She is an ok professor. Her class is kinda boring because all she does is lectures. The homework doesnt need to be turned in but the problems on the tests are from the book or study guide. Her accent is really thick, however you can still understand the material. She goes really fast, but if you are good in math you can just read the book at home.

Her accent takes some getting used to, but she's one of the best professors I've ever had (and I previously attended a Tier 1 university). She's exceptionally good at explaining concepts and tying them together. She moves quickly, but her tests aren't any more difficult than homework from the book.

It is very hard to understand her later on you can catch on she goes really fast, your grade is based on tests only homework doesn't need to be turned in and she doesn't take attendance (or rarely does). She is an alright teacher not the best but definitely not the worst.

me again. NOOOO!!!! horrible accent. My whole class already complained to admin. about her. If u wanna just pass with a C go for it. u wont get higher cuz she doesn't give partial credit. has a thick Russian accent but no homework so that was the only positive thing bout her class. NO!!!! omg no! i had her for summer.... i wasted my summer. SO RUDE! I got yelled at 3 times on the first day. Not raising my hand to go to the bathroom, eating cookies in the classroom and then she was eating her food during break later. Worst teacher i've had and i'm usually a teachers pet. NOOO! big mistake.

Basically gives many examples on the board while explaining and they are very clear. Very helpful and welcomes your questions. She's nice but hates to be disturbed my some other talking or people touching their cell phone in her class so be careful.

At first the accent got me, but I literally wrote down almost like a vocabulary sheet for her class the first day. She is amazing at simplifying math for you. I never understood Statistics until her class. I definitely recommend her. Do the homework! She will go through every problem with you if you still don't get it.
