He's a good professor. Expect 2 or 3 papers and 4 or 5 exams. I thought his exams were hard. He gives extra credit for having your paper reviewed by him the day before as well as turning the paper in on time. This class is a rat lab, so you work with rats in groups of 3.

What a wonderful professor?! I loved Dr. Iversen. I learned so much from him. He makes the material interesting and fun. I highly recommend him. Its challenging but not impossible. You will have to attend class and put forth the effort.

Comment:

Loved his class but it was difficult. 3 exams, 2 research papers, 4 lit summaries, and 2 presentations. You will have to handle the rats, so if you are scared of them, don't take the class. Dr. Iversen is extremely knowledgable and willing to help. I wish he offered more extra credit, though. I was only a few points away from an A in his class.

Hardest I've worked at UNF so far. Took HLP in summer, WAY too much required. 3 VERY difficult exams (multiple choice & graphs), 2 complete APA articles, 3 article summations,website presentation, and an article presentation. The extra credit & attendance saved me & I got an A. It was a huge challenge, especially the exams.

AKA "Rat Lab" - this was the most I've ever learned since being at UNF. 3 papers due but it was all based on what you did in the lab which was easy to remember. You HAVE to go the lab in order to write those papers well. Other than that - all is well. Little assignments due at the beginning of class but it helps you in the end

He is a hard grader when it comes to the papers, but he is an excellent teacher and extremely willing to help you he really doesn't want you to fail!! This was an experimental course and there were 5 lit sums, 3 research papers,3 tests, and presentation. Great teacher would love to take him again!! Hard but you walk away learning A LOT!!

I thought this was an incredibly easy class. A lot of the basics you have already learned in other psych classes. Lectures were long and drawn out, but it was a 6-8:45 class. I usually left early or didn't come at all and still made an A by a very good margin by studying the book and notes the day of the test. Very easy class!

Comment:

Iverson is very entertaining and very precise in his teaching. He clearly lays out how much work is necessary to get an A, B etc., 4 article reviews, 5 mc tests, 1 project, 2 video quizzes. He grades easily and offers plenty of EC opportunities- great teacher!

Extremely funny. He has a strong accent but it's really not that difficult to understand him, and he teaches from power point lecture so just follow along. Gives real life examples and has a great sense of humor. Not at all difficult to get an A or at least a B, study BB and his study guides. No Attendance required.

The class was awful but Dr. Iversen is so much fun! You have to like behaviorism to enjoy the class but he will work with you until you get it. Very helpful and understanding. Tell great stories, too.

Dr. Iversen is the best teacher! He is very helpful, always offers extra help outside class. Tests are easy if you study. He has a great sense of humor and is very fair. He is very friendly and down to earth. He is so intelligent, and a cutey too!
