We have 2 short papers, one midterm and a final all multiple choice. This is probably the only class that I actually want to show up to. She speaks her mind and inspires the right people. Best teacher by far.

If you love teaching yourself then this is the professor for you. Hill is a good teacher but she gets side tracked a lot and often times doesn't go over the lesson plans or teaches. She preaches more than anything, the exams are okay not too hard or too easy. If you put in the effort, read all 3 textbooks required for the class you'll do great.

Class was extremely interesting, and she is such a nice woman who really wants to help her student pass the class. The things you learn in this class are things you use outside of class. Tests are pretty easy just study and read the documents and books.

LOVED HER! The best professor I ever had. She's amazing, inspiring, and can back her stuff up(FACT/PROOF)! She does know it all! (to commnt above) I recomend only taking her if you're majoring in Soc or Psych. If you have the heart for society, take her, if u dont care then get another prof. TEST: easy HW: easy(2pg reports) Class:the bomb! :) <3

Can't stand her. She thinks she knows everything and will not hesitate to bring up her Ph. D, though she claims not to cake for it. She is very disrespectful. She'll call people sleezy, interrupt them constantly, tell them they aren't reading fast enough or the like. It isn't a soc class but a race one. She's "inspirational" more than she teaches.

Dr. Hill was AMAZING i really loved her, she got her class so caught up in her lectures that you wouldn't hear one peep out of anybody, however if you looked around, you'd see the entire class with dropped jaws, just gazing at her and her class is sooo easy to follow if you just listen, which isnt a problem when she's speaking :D

LOVED HER!!!! tests were super easy just pay attention study your chapters and you'll do fine! i took her twice a week as an evening class. She is so inspirational! we need more teachers like this!

janet hill is a great inspiring teacher i love that she reffers to the bible and gives her life examples as things we as a a class can relate to and connect with she is a great teacher and i hope she will continue 2 teach on she made me view life very different and take a double look @ things b4 i judge them

Excellent teacher. If you pay attention, take notes, read the material, and look to the study guide you will do well. I was challenged to open my mind. I would recommend setting plenty of time aside to read the required textbook, and reading materials.

Dr. Hill is an awesome teacher, before taking her class I was not sure in what field of study I wanted to specialize in and after taking her class I knew what it was going to be. She makes you believe in yourself and gives you the straight facts. I highly reccomened her class. She keeps it fun and interesting.

Professor Hill often uses her class as a platform for her personal stories, experiences, rants and preaching. I personally did not care for all the church and "God" talk but many enjoyed it. There are many better and many worse. Study what is noted on the syllabus, show up to class to watch the videos and do all of the extra credit work she offers

Dr. Hill is a very inspirational teacher that makes you wonder about our society that we live in. If you want to learn alot this is your class but if you cannot afford to many books take someone else because you would have to but about 3 to 5 books for this class. you would also have to do alot of writing assignments and her test are based on books

Dr. Hill is very passionate about her work. by the time you leave this class all of your social blinders will have been removed. She helps to develop a 3rd eye in which to view the world. She is a great teacher and always willing to help.She provides a study guide that helps tremendously with exams. I would recommend her hands down.
