Jack always has something in mind to make you confuse. He is not a good teacher for the courses he is teaching specially urban design studio and history. He needs to be replaced by a more educated and organized professor who really cares about the student's effort. He is very hard to please.

Jack is one of the best Professors in the department! No, his classes aren't easy but I learned an amazing amount in Studio with him. If you want to be a Landscape Architect this is one of the best people to learn from at the University.

I got a C even though i went to class. Class was really boring he showed the same slides every lecture... There are only 5 grades in the course 2 exams 2 projects and 1 discussion grade. Discussion grade depends on your TA mine seemed chill but screwed me in the end. Exams are random stupid details and project grade also depends on your TA.

Still one of my all time favorite professors. I actually didn't realize how much I had learned from this man in all my studios until I got out there in the job market and found myself leaps and bounds beyond other entry level staff. Even Harvard professors that I've had can't touch this guy.

interesting stuff, but it gets old really quick, so really get into it. there's barely any concrete information, just know the basic concepts. he's kind of new at teaching an actual college class so things might change around. the final suprised us because the multiple choice was really specific. came out of nowhere. however, pretty good class.

He is a great professor and is very easy and approachable. Honestly his lectures are kind of dull considering they are just pictures that he talks about for the most part. He is super friendly. The tests are not very hard, its more of looking for the idea of it all, and not for specifics. Good easy class for a core HO.
