Prof Daley is 1 of the best professors at csueb computer science dept.He has the best lecture notes.His notes is enough and i didnt have to go through the text book at all for the whole quarter.His lectures r organized.He has a 24x7 phone number,where students can reach him.He is very helpful.i would take another class with him if i have chance.

Comment:

Lectures are decently organized and he has a plan. Bad thing is his teaching style is very dry and horribly boring. Collected but didnt grade HW so no way to see how youre doing in class. One final which is pretty tough. For a DS class, he's not bad as long as you don't fall asleep. Sometimes I felt I learned more from his notes than his lectures.

Awful. This guy has been teaching for over 30 years, and is burned out. He teaches you the bare minimum, and assigns bare minimum HW, but then tests you on the absurdly specific. His grading structure is crazy. I hate correcting teachers in class, but he makes frequent errors during lectures and on HW. He isn't clear, and goes on tangents in class.

He's all right. The prgramming is pretty straight forward, but the final was pretty hard. However, he has the best lecture notes I've ever seen. I didn't open the text book once the entire quarter, and I go an A in the class.

His style is extremely boring. His exams are more difficult than the level of the class as he teaches it.
