He goes through many slides during lecture. Midterm is difficult because it covers the bulk of the course material. Second half of the semester was spent doing group projects, which is where you will learn the most. You'll also learn a lot about teamwork. You work with real companies (even if they are small) so it's a good experience.

This class is more difficult than it should be purely on clarity issues. The in-test took over 3 hours and was poorly written, despite the professor saying it should take 2 max. This class single-handedly ruined my GPA unfortunately. I would try and take it with a different professor.

I was really excited to take this class, but the professor made it very boring. Teaches off PPT, doesn't give much HW. Inclass test that took 3hrs and was very difficult, take home exam which is more involved than the inclass. final project. Take another professor for this class

A really nice professor but powerpoints are outdated, class overall needs an update. Marketing is in such a different place today and this class does not keep up with where marketing is heading. Assignments are unclear and there are no direct assignment outlines, just examples of what previous students did. Recommend class but different professor

A tough course which requires three real case studies, one individual research report, one mid term. Highly recommend to marketing students. Case study is very useful and interesting.but his voice volume is very small.

Teaches off of powerpoints and is very soft spoken. Three or four case studies with assigned teams and if you follow the guideline (really easy) he is very generous with grading. No midterm, only a final - half is take home and the other is in class. Didn't use my book once

Dr. Gould is one of the nicest professors at Pace. I can't understand the comments below. Some people just don't want to try. He is very fair. I had him for research,and it can be tough as a subject, but he tried his best to explain and was always available to help. Just try to listen to him, and you'll do well :)

This class consists of three group projects and a final. If you get paired up with a good group, it'll be an enjoyable semester. Lectures were taken straight from the powerpoint slides. Thought it was unfair that a final was given as you don't necessarily know what to expect, but it's not too difficult. Don't bother getting the text, waste of $$$.

yea i dont know...had him for research, class makes no sense, hes in his own world and youll pretty much learn nothing unless your actually interested in marketing research and know your own stuff, but overall pulled a passing grade and did no work so id take again if u need to take research

I guess he read the comments, because he now uses Powerpoint. I enjoyed the class very much. The case studies were really helpful and the group assignments were fun. I learned alot about basic marketing concepts and the final was pretty easy. He is a fair grader.

This professor is BAD. Needs to realize that the educational system has reformed since 1971. Use of a big clumsy overhead and meaningless slides, not being around the last FOUR weeks of class, and a final where his last question stated the following: "Write your own question and answer it thoroughly." HUH!?!?!?!
