This professor was awesome! She is very understanding. As long as you communicate with her, she will be your best friend when it comes to the class room. The tests can be difficult if you dont study. I would take her again.

She is tough but really knows her material. She gives you an outline and study guide for each lecture and test. Take lots of notes & try not to miss a class. If you have to get notes from a fellow class mate. The essay sections of the tests hold the most grade points. If you like a challenge she is right for you. I would take her class again.

Good teacher, love the fact she has three places for you to visit then write a paper about instead of answering questions in the book. Really enjoyed her class cause she is a history nerd!

She is a very awkward teacher because she will laugh at something she says but she is the only one. She is a hard teacher to get use to but once you do she is easy. Just pay attention and take tons of notes cause you never know what you will need.

Dr. J. is an amazing teacher! She truly cares about the subject, and her students. She is not an easy teacher. She holds her students to a high standard, and if you do not try, you will not succeed in her class. She gives a study guide, and there is never anything on the test that was not on the study guide. So, if you study, you will do great!

I learned a lot in Dr. J's class. She has a very open mind about politics and let us all speak freely. I was never interested in government or politics before her class, but she really turned me on to it. Work load wasn't too much, there was usually one assignment per week.

Loved the subject very interesting but the work load was crazy. Finished with a whole lot less students than we started with. I believe the load scared them off. Never fiqured out what she was looking for in the writings. Nice lady, passionate about the subject. Just wish we could have enjoyed the class alittle more.

Awesome Dr./Prof./Teacher!!! She gives you a study guide. Study it. Love her lectures. She brings in artifacts. Take notes because she lectures directly off the outline. She is available for personal consult at business hours and returns every phone call. Very helpful. I was very blessed to have her for a Professor! Thanks Dr. J!!!

The most difficult part of the class are the essays. I am an excellent writer, but one cannot "BS" their way to an A in the essay. She wants people, dates, very specific information and the students have to memorize 3 different essays. It's not the easiest class to say the least.

She made history our major, when really, it wasn't for most of us. A page long essay over 3 topics that we had to study for, memorize, and then randomly pick before the test. It just wasn't meant to be that difficult, it's history for crying out loud!

Awesome teacher! She really does a good job of explaining things. Her tests are her failing point. A lot of people feel that the test are hard because of the essays. Well the essays are long, however, she gives you the questions before the test.
