CM student - this class is extremely hard. I recommend you to sit in the front and take good notes. Homework every night on mastering engineering and on paper. Took the class in the Fall semester: 3 exams, Project, and Final. First Exam was easy everything goes down hill after that. In order to pass the class a 70% average is needed on the exams.

The class was pretty straight forward. Tests were tough, but nothing on them was a surprise, it just may take a while to finish. Homework every night, which can be a pain, but tutors can be helpful and it really helps you to learn the material. May want to consider a binder since she gives out many handouts. Online hw is frustrating but few given.

Hard to get the B- that I got. She acts nice, but doesn't seem to give a flying flamingo about the student. I could see through her fake kindness at day 1. Take another teacher for engineering.

She teaches clearly, but the hw she assigns is A LOT harder than the material she teaches in class. She expects everyone to understand everything somewhat easily and that's where she is wrong. Very frustrating hw assignments and I had to see the tutors for every hw assignment. Homework usually took at least 3 hours. She made me dislike engineering.

Really knows her stuff, has a lot of videos online if you miss things in class. DO THE HOMEWORK IN GROUPS. The homework is worth more than all the tests, people don't seem to get that. Pretty helpful in her office if you need to go. Statics isn't mathematically difficult, but its easy to mess up. Gives out test review packets and problems

Good information, and teaching style was pretty good... if you're a girl, take another professor. Her attitude towards women is a bit negative compared to men, dont know why. But with girls she seems to not kid around at all, and be less likely to help.

what can you say about this lady other than she is a half rate engineering teach. shes nice, but heartless. fair but doesnt care about the kids. she weeds out kids like she has a quota. still like her and passed with an a but cant say that wasnt luck.

Great teacher and great class. Class can get boring and material can be hard but she explains very well and is very helpful when approached outside of class. Very fair grader! Would highly recommend for this class! I learned SO much!
