She was alright. Dull mono tone voice, but easy class. Go to class get the handouts and write what she writes down. Had my Ipod in my ear nearly every class. 3 exams and a final along with weekly quizzes. Easy A if you can attend and stay awake the whole time.

She's an ok professor. Kinda boring but it was an ok class. Just do the homework, even though its only extra credit it still helps. Quizzes are easy especially if you have a good Breakout Professor. I recommend Pablo Crespo. He's pretty chill, funny, and really helpful. She allows a page of notes and a front and back for all tests and quizzes.

this class is easy.if stat isnt your thing i would reccomend taking this professor.i hated stat nd this the second time taking the subject and im passing her class with an A.we are allowed to use notes on every quiz and exam.and get extra 3 points on the exam if you turn in homework.

Grade Scheme: 25% quiz, 75% exam. Lowest non-final exam and lowest quiz grade dropped. Homework 3% extra credit Take advantage of the early simplicity of the material, it will get more complicated. Lectures are done very well and attendance, while not mandatory, greatly helps. Slow lecture pace, but you might appreciate toward the end of the course

Good professor. Get used to her talking slowly. She explains things thoroughly. Go to class, take notes, do the homework. Her quizzes and tests are very easy! She gives you study guides to study for them. +3 on tests for doing the HW due on exam day. She drops the lowest test & quiz grade. Study your notes & the examples. I got an A!

This professor seems great at first but she is not very helpful, I went to her for help and advice and she only accused me of not doing the homework after I spent the week in ACE tutoring doing the homework, she is rude and if you don't understand something she looks at you like your dumb.

She is the best Stats professor I've ever had. If you are not good at math you want her! She explains things thoroughly and allows 1 page of notes on all your quizzes and exams! Also, she drops the lowest grade of each quiz and exam. She should teach all sections of STATS!!

awesome professor. I am HORRIBLE at math but made a B in her stats class. homework is worth 3 extra points on each test. she does talk slowly but that is because she explains things thorougly. if you have trouble in math take this professor. it isn't a cake walk. you have to do the work to get the grade.shell help u understand the material perfecty

I was tricked into taking this prof after I heard she was the best stats teacher here. It's not true, she takes off points for nit picky things and going to class is almost pointless. While the material is easy she makes it hard by taking off points for dumb little things. Oh yeah..and she has the most annoying voice on the planet.

She speaks to students like they are children. She lectures in a monotone and she is unhelpful. The homework she assigns is pointless; she teaches in lecture is completely different from what is in the homework; the homework does not prepare you for what is on quizes. It is hard to stay awake in her class. If you can, take another professor!

This class was the easiest math class I've ever taken. I dreaded Statistics, but this teacher was clear and coherent, and I understood everything. I got my first A in a math course (ever). I must comment on the teaching assistant Ping Wang--she's amazing. I did well because of her. I'll finish in the next box.

In general a very nice person. She uses ppt. printouts for notes, which she hands out in class. Explains A LOT, & very throroughly. Is willing to meet & be flexible. I missed a quiz because I was sick & making it up was no issue. H/w is extra credit. Quizes are easy, tests only a fraction harder. I'd reccomend her for anyone not great in math!

she talks extraordinarily slow, but i suppose you need to with statistics. she gives power point slides which help, and you're able to use a sheet of notes with every test and quiz which help a lot. she seemed like she had better things to do when i went to her office hours - maybe try going to the TA if you need help. overall she's a good prof.

She is perhaps the single worst teacher I have ever had. The incongruity between her and her TA's (mostly Yongtao Cao) is horrid. Do not take her class if you do not want to kill yourself. It will make you want to punch babies. If you have to take her class, stay FAR away from Yongtao Cao. He is incomprehensible and absolutely useless.

SO easy. listen, take notes, and use a page of notes on the quizzes and exams. She talks veryy slowlyy, so the class is veryy boringg. but easy easy A. she is also very rude and acts like you are a hoodlum if you try to speak with her. i use rude for lack of a better word.. so never speak to her and you'll enjoy this class.. somewhat.
