Just finished taking A&P 1 online (BIOL2404) and let me just say, it was difficult. You need to be prepared to thoroughly read the textbook and complete several assignments per week. He assigns multiple homework and learnsmarts due on one day, so don't procrastinate. The course material is also super expensive. All in all, I'd give him a 7/10

Just tooked biol 2404 online and I got an easy B. There is a lot of homework, but is worth it, because that's extra points. Prof LaPres helps with any issues and he does everything to help his students with the grades. I would DEFINITELY take it again.

I would never take this professor for any class again. I took his online bio 2401 class, and it was a huge mistake. I emailed him about a few questions i had regarding some of the material and it took him 2 days to respond. I didn't like the way he did his lectures online. Never again

Try a different Professor, especially if taking during the summer. Way too much material to remember and study. Tests are hard. No study guides. All test need to be taken at testing center.

Took this class online. Everything done online except for final. You will do a chapter every week sometimes two so make sure you look at the dates. Each chapter has a Review, HW, Quiz, and Lab so it is time consuming, but it is an Easy A if you take the time to do the work. Prof LaPres helps with any issues and responds quickly. Would take again!

I loved taking his class. Everything is was clear and very understanding. Gives great feedback, and response to you in good timing. By far the best professor ! I highly recommend, especially if you struggle with biology.

I took Prof. LaPres for Intro to A&P and it was A LOT better than I was expecting. he spreads the grading out so the final grade can't be determined by one thing. if you're not a science wiz I would definitely take Jason LaPres. even if you are a science wiz, take LaPres!

Enjoyed this class! Study and do all of the assignments, you will pass the course. Don't wait to the last minute to complete everything. Read syllabus closely, some weeks have 2 chapters. Watch all of the videos and complete the APR quiz with another APR window open (easy 100). Start the midterm and final practice quiz early (use those to study)

Mr. LaPres was a great instructor. I took this class online and he was always available to answer any question that I had (via email). He is a very tough grader but if you can show him that you are dedicated to the course you should not have a problem. He is willing to help, just ask!

Comment:

Anatomy & Physiology is not an easy class. There is a ton of work involved. However, if you have to take it, take Professor LaPres!! I took it in an online Summer 1 session class. Although we never met face to face, you could tell he was always right there willing to help whenever you needed it. His instructions were always very clear as well!

The class is 90% online there is a lot of work in another site called McGraw-Hill connect he gives you a week to do it. You get 2 chances on hw, and quizzes and you have 4 discussions. If you do all your work on time you can get a A

Professor LaPres is very dedicated to his craft. He truly enjoys teaching and relates to students in a manner that they can understand the material, by using real life scenarios. I only made a B, because I did not read of all the material. He is a great guy and you will really enjoy his taking his course.

This is the worst professor i've ever had. He is completely full of himself. His "in person" class is really a hybrid because 90% of his stuff is online! He moves way to fast and doesn't help at! He answers every thing in a question. I had to drop the class because he doesn't lecture and moved to fast. I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy.

This professor is very arrogant. He is not helpful at all. A few of us need a little more help navigating an unfamiliar website. He will say "email me" with the intent on avoiding questions he thinks are dumb. And to those who say he is hot, GET AN EYE EXAM STAT!!!

His hybrid courses are fast. The work is all online, which is nice actually. Conveniently do it on your own time, but keep up with it. Go to class! You don't do anything during class on most days, but you get a 100 just for being in there. You don't have to stay for lab though. I took A&P 1 & 2 with him. Loved that class!
