Comment:

The final exam is all math. Check for past finals online, and don't waste too much time in the powerpoint slides. Most of the info they contain is useless and very unclear or inaccurate. Frustrating class, but once you learn to calculate payments, amortization schedules, etc. on your financial calculator, you can get an A.

Comment:

This class was a bit harder than expected but still very doable. Anyone who is at least a bit good with numbers and has a good sense of logic can pull off an easy A in this class. Hadn't done this much math in years but once you grasp it it becomes pretty easy. Questions resemble past exams which are online also. Not CHEM 208 but still pretty easy

If you're looking to get yourself a high GPA, if you are not skilled in math, if you are looking for a class to get an easy A, this class is not one of them. Only 2 tests during the semester, and if you fail one of them, good luck buddy. This class may be worth it for students who are already in the FINA program, but save yourself the grade...

His online lectures are disorganized to the point of being cringe-worthy at times. We had recommended readings every week which I completely wasted my time in doing as only material on the slides is covered in exams. The final exam was much harder than anything we studied during the semester and was worth 70% of our grade.

Easy A!!! Class is a joke, past exams is future exam with different numbers. Never opened a book just did online quizzes with friends got 100% on that portion(30%of final mark) final exam worth 70%. Just master the calculator and remember the formulas , this an easy gpa booster!

I took fina 210 online. There a couple of online quizzes which are easy. One final worth 70% and the 30% from the online quizzes. Just do the past exams I guarantee an A- minimum( exam is literally the same as past exams with different numbers). But remember there are formulas to remember, not a easy A if you put it out till the last day.

Dr. Mannadiar is one hell of a teacher! If you take FINA210 in-class, prepare to study. He gives easy to understand lectures with a good sense of humor. He is strict, but fair. Work on your calculator skills cause a single mistake means you lose bunch of marks. He will answer your questions, and he will like you if you participate. Easy A class!

there's 2 sections to this class. the online or inclass. I signed up for the online section and it is alot easier online. the quizzes are relatively easy and for the final exam just focus on the past final exam for practice and you will do really good.10

Amazing Prof, Very clear about what is needed to succeed in his class. FINA 450 was one of the more interesting classes at JMSB and he is always available for discussion.

Comment:

Tough grader but the material is fairly easy. If your final answer isnt right then you've probably lost the majority or all of your marks. He explains very well and gives PPTs so you do not need a book. Make sure to attend classes to take notes in order to get your A-. If you go to class, listen, take notes this class is an easy A-.

One of the worst classes I've ever taken. Coming from an A student, I was getting a D in my first test. All the mistakes I've made in tests were due to error, not because I didn't understand the material. He gives you vague answers in your emails, only if you see him during office hours he seems to be helpful. Avoid!!

He is a very good teacher, always avaible (during his office hours), quizzes are exactly the same material coverred in class, he gives sample midterm. The hardest partof the class is the final.

Greatest professor ever! Very easy class. Impossible to fail. Do your work and you'll do great. I would definitely take one of his classes again. If you follow the guidelines, you will do great.

While his lectures are good and the material is relatively easy, I got a D. I must admit I wasn't working hard enough though, it was summer so I was more enjoying the outdoors than his course. But I remember he would give absolutely NO PART MARKS, if my answer was wrong, he would cross everything out. I thought I had done much better..

The course is easy if you know basic finance principles. The textbook is USELESS. His notes are enough to do well, and most of the final exam was multiple choice calculation questions. They have NOT changed the final exam in years and many students have it, so there were dozens of As. I think they bell curved. I didn't have the final/ got a B.

Take it Online its much easier. No point of going to the class its useless and way harder and the teacher really doesn't make it easy for you. The final for the online is multiple choice while in class you have to show all your work with details.
