Really good guy and VERY knowledgeable about labor economics. Pretty clear on material we need to know and make sure you know how to explain your reasoning in detail. Found him interesting for using real world statistics more specifically Las Vegas labor economics. Would definitely take again

ECON 365 Summer. This is a nice transition class from econ 102 & 103. Not too much detail, but just enough to have you remember a few concepts. Makes you develop how to analyze and think as an economist using models and equations. I enjoyed myself in his class everyday and stopped reading the book Didn't use the book.3 tests, 1 group proj, 5 hwks.

Comment:
Not a great class for econ majors as it was designed for management majors. The models used are very basic, but it was an easy A, so it's hard to complain. Professor gives pretty engaging lectures, although like many professors, he tries too hard to be funny. Grade was mostly exams so study hard.

He is a horrible teacher, won't even answer any questions. He'll just tell you to review his poorly written PowerPoints. Good luck if you decide to take him.

Waddoups knows this material. He really wants you to understand it, because the course only becomes more difficult. The 30 Q tests are written so that if you don't understand the material, you will not pass. Each homework assignment literally took me hours. Study and truly try to understand the material and you should be fine!

Professor's first attempt at this class and he pulled it off very well. Since he is a labor economist, he covered discrimination with a labor slant. Two midterms, a few quizzes,a group project, and a final are not difficult if you come to class, read assignments, and use study guides he provides before exams. Very fair grading.

I think he is great! I took him over summer, i had to come everyday, but he made it more bearable! he is SUPER nice, doesn't trick you on the test, and throughout class he will help you as much as he can. He made the material really easy to understand. exams are like 10x easier than hw. im so glad i had him for this class!

He's pretty straight forward. Doesn't put any BS on the tests, and he gives several fairly easy extra credit assignments. He's very liberal so that was kind of annoying, but he cools down after awhile. You're not going to get a stats teacher much better than him.

This professer is very helpful and makes a very boring subject and makes it interesting. He is very good at clarifying and answering questions and he has set up a SI group to study after class. His exams are very easy as long as you go to class and do your homework.

Professor is interested in the material. When you take his tests, include everything you know about the subject and he will give you more points, being concise will not help you. If you get confused, just ask a question

Class was boring, but the teacher is great.Take him.He explains everything nicely,so it's better to show up and listen to him.3 exams are based on his lectures only, didn't really use the book that much.Exams are fill-in blanks and essay questions, but not hard as long as you study his lectures.Paper is not bad either, chose any topic you want.
