Prof Halprin wants his students to think and isn't confining them to one view on a story. There will be A LOT of reading, and you'd better be prepared for it. But if you can handle the work, there's meaning behind it and if you show him you care, he's one of the best professors to take. I actually came to Nichols because I came to a class on a tour

Greatest teacher I ever had. If you have to take this class make sure you have it with him! I have transferred out of Nichols because I decided to study something that Nichols didn't offer but teachers like Halprin make me miss it so much. He is very helpful and is there for you academically or if you need someone to talk to. #greatestteacherever
