This class was a battle for me, she gave lots of homework. 1 worksheet a week 10-20 questions on roughly 100pgs of reading BUY THE BOOKS! You will read cover to cover!, 3 in class discussions w/ a group, 3 essays 4-5pgs, 1 final essay 10-12pgs. Not a tough grader, gives notes and gives 4 free late passes, always accessible and understanding.

Ms. Helton not only brings history back to modern times but also finds the precious jewels of historical events that are precious for us to know today. I highly recommend that you take her class as by doing so you will broaden your knowledge of world history and have fun at the same time.

Very informative yet sometimes unclear on the facts. You definitely have to be interested in History to enjoy or do well in the class. She was very nice, though there was SO MUCH homework... It was kinda ridiculous.

Shes got WAY too much homework. If you fall behind, its impossible to catch up. Too much work, lectures are boring but well explained. Not much to say either way... shes OK...

THE BEST HISTORY TEACHER IVE EVER TAKEN... alot of class work, but no test or final, and is very helpful after class hours. I would recommend everyone to take her classes!

A ton of work, prepared me VERY WELL for going on to a four year school. Stay on top of the journals, do the readings. For the research paper, do the assigned work by the deadlines, and it will be easy. She is very well educated, and it shows.

HARD class, and ALOT of work, but she makes the class enjoyable and fun! I definately learned alot from her. She is honest, fair and no students can complain about her teachings!
