He teaches both gaap and ifrs which is good for accounting major student. Exams are fairly enough, he tests mile wide, but only inch deep. After semester, you will have better understanding toward this subject!

A HARD CLASs for all, do all the HWs thoroughly the exams are based on them. 10 MC and 3 NUMERIC, which is actually good because chances for partial credit unlike all mc which is risky. A class you have to devout alot of time regardless. Just know all the hws and Sample exams he provides. A hard professor but doable if you are committed to study

Previous and only positive rater is a retard. If you made it to ACC 4100 that already means that you know something about accounting. Baruch is one of the top business schools and they give you a guy who doesn't speak English. Slides are helpful though. Overall, I don't recomend him.

If you study and know anything about accounting, you can't do bad. He's a nice guy, no trick questions on exams, review the chapters and read his notes. Great class and one of the better accounting professors!

He is the worst professor I've ever taken. He does not teach at all, makes mistakes on his slides and during his lectures. He is incomprehensible and gives long tests which are not possible to finish. I wonder if he is capable of finishing his exams in his time frame

PP Slides are useless. Hard to understand his points. Jumps around in explanations so you get lost. It is truly a self-taught class via the textbook. Thankfully he doesn't take attendance and doesn't grade the presentation. Grade is based on HW Manager + Exams. If you mess up on an exam, you can have the final grade replace one exam grade.

Ye's not a good teacher and his English is mediocre, but the class is an easy A. His midterms/final are WORD-FOR-WORD from his practice midterms or the homework. I studied the homework, the class problems, and the practice test twice before the actual exams and got a perfect score on two of them.

He did not curve even though he said will. Always makes mistakes in his lecture notes and study guides for exams. MC questions are mostly from CPA exams. His lectures are just a waist of time due to his horrible English. The only things you need to do are study textbook and do h/w problems. No attendance. You can pass this course with avg. grade bu

He's really not that bad. Sure, he makes mistakes but he's so lenient.. which makes up for it. The problems in his notes come straight out of the textbook. If you study on your own by reading the textbook, you'll do great. Don't depend on him to teach you everything. Read the text!!!!

The final was way too long even though there was a 15 min extension many people didn't get to finish the exam. Also, the seats in the gym are NOT comfortable at all. The seats were too low my back started to hurt. GET BETTER CHAIRS/DESK!! Yes, if you manage to study the book you're good. Do HW's and practice exam.

The worst prof i have ever taken, exams are nothing like his notes, copies textbook questions & changes the numbers & asks way to much on exam, it is sooo hard to finish the exam in 1.5 hours or the final in 2 hours. BEWARE!!!!

i agree that he is a nice person, but he just does not how to teach. many students do not attend the class since it is useless. they all study on their own. horrible.
